The recently announced prequel series to the Jim Henson classic is getting a game.
Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, a strategy game based on Netflix's upcoming prequel to the Dark Crystal movie was announced for Switch during today's Nintendo Direct. Gameplay shown featured a grid-based combat system with character designs from the Dark Crystal universe fighting in action reminiscent of the Final Fantasy Tactics series. It will release in 2019. Developers BonusXP, who previously worked with Netflix on the Stranger Things game, and Krafton, the parent company of Bluehole were listed in the trailer.
