Includes European translation and Treehouse Live

Nintendo has given some clarifying details about what to expect with the Switch reveal event on January 12/13.

For Europe, the conference from Japan will be streamed with an English voiceover, while the other languages supported will received subtitled versions later in the day. A similar stream will be used in North America.

Treehouse Live will also be on the air on January 13, beginning at 9:30 am Eastern time, to show off gameplay for the games revealed in the Switch presentation.

With such an early start time (that's going to rough for people out west who aren't used to waking up early), I'm optimistic that this means we'll get a full day of showcases like E3 last year. I know some people ended up being exhausted by the end of day one, but, looking back on it, I had a lot of fun watching those E3 streams.

I'm teaching a class at 9:30am. :(

I was hoping it'd be later in the night, but I guess I'll just have to wait the entire day. :(
