The downloading is sustained.

There's two major games on this week's release schedule, and by the time the eShop updates we'll have reviews for both of them. The biggest monetary cost goes to Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice because let's face it, lawyers are expensive. Alex has our review, which you can check out to see if it's worth dropping some coin on - but also be ready for some launch DLC. Matt will be by shortly with his review of Jotun: Valhalla Edition, this week's Summer Nindie jam and a fine-looking action strategy title.

On the smaller title front, Letter Quest Remastered finally hits in North America after having its July launch unexpectedly cancelled, while New 3DS owners can try the snazzy shooter Futuridium EP Deluxe (complete with crossbuy with the Wii U version). Thankfully, there's no Skunk Software this week. The Virtual Console on New 3DS whips it good with Super Castlevania IV, while the Wii U has somehow managed to qualify for The Hex with Mario Strikers Charged. Bribing of El Salvador not included.

Jotun and Phoenix Wright are the headliners in Europe as well, but Double Fine's musical platformer 140 is also up for grabs this week. On New 3DS Virtual Console, the beatings will continue until morale improves as the entire SNES Final Fight trilogy is now available, with a "buy 2 get 1 free" deal to go along with it.

Very happy to see Super Castlevaina drop. I was hoping it would be one of the SNES surprises.

Always wanted to play it, heard nothing but positive things about this game. loved mirror of darkness on the 3DS so I'll pick this one up.

Can you please start writing a description for each game. I want to see your soul decay on Skunk Software and RCMADIAX weeks.

I beat the first Castlevaina but I can't remember how far I got in 2. I'm looking forward to going back and re-exploring 2 just for the weirdness, but I always wanted to play 3 and 4 (not to mention SOTN). I played a little of 3 tonight. I already like the clearer visual design and the edge they seemingly took off the difficulty.

Simon's quest was absolute cancer...

rygarSeptember 12, 2016

Lol, you're a bit harsher on it than me. The game is obviously flawed, but I found the storyline provocative at the time.

How the hell were you meant to guess kneeling down next to a cliff use a spell and get warped away from a tornado? The Internet didn't exist at the time!
