Two titles that will be competing for the gold medal in 2016.

Release dates have been revealed for both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The 3DS title will be available on March 18th. The Wii U version will hit store shelves on June 24th.

The Wii U version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will feature two brand new events to the series. These events include Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs and Rugby Sevens. Additionally, all the locations in game are based on the actual on site locations that can be found in Rio for this year's Olympic games.

I actually sort of like this series, although not enough to rush out and buy them for full price. They're fun party games to get when they hit the bargain bins, though. It also looks like the Wii U version of this may be the most feature-packed game yet, so that's nice to see.
