Which version, how will it go, and Amiibo?

With Yo-Kai Watch releasing next month, Level-5 is already considering their options for how to handle the sequel.

Speaking to our Jared Rosenberg at the New York Comic-Con, chief operating officer Yukari Hayakawa stated that they haven't made the decision as to which of the game's versions to release outside of Japan. "One is called Ganzo, Honke, and Shinuchi so there's actually three titles and we are still kind of, we haven't made the decision on which one to release in the U.S., whether it's all three or just one, whether it's all physical or digital."

When asked about the possibility of Amiibo for the series, Hayakawa admitted that nothing is confirmed yet but there is the possibility of support.

We'll have more from Jared's interview shortly.

In other non-news, I am thinking about having a sandwich. Or maybe sushi.

It would probably be a better idea to go with just one version.

Update! I had neither, though I did have some sashimi later in the day.

Have to assume the sales of the first game will more or less answer those questions for them. The thought of Yo-Kai Watch amiibo though... good lord. Probably only a matter time, but that could lead to a production mess all over again given how fast those would sell in Japan.
