What Pokémon has a new Mega Evolution? And why is Pikachu dressed as a southern belle?
A new Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire video has launched this morning, showcasing various aspects of the remakes.
The video shows the various gyms found in the game as well as the Elite Four trainers. A short segment on Secret Bases was also shown for a few seconds, confirming their return.
Pikachu was shown wearing various outfits, ranging from a southern belle to a lucha libre wrestler. The video hinted that Contests, which were also in Ruby and Sapphire, might have something to do with these outfits.
At the end of the trailer, a Metagross mega evolving was shown. What changes when Metagross evolves is not currently known. Based on CoroCoro magazine scans, Metagross evolves via the Mega Brooch when Steven Stone, the champion of the Hoenn region, uses it on his Metagross.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are due for release November 21st in North America and Japan, with Europe receiving it on the 28th. The trailer can be seen below.
