Pilotwings is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console in North America this Thursday, June 27.
Available for $7.99, Pilotwings is the first game released in the series of the same name, and is a launch title for the Super Nintendo.
Pilotwings is a flight simulator that lets players "earn their wings" in Flight Club, a series of challenges that rewards players with pilot's licenses. There are multiple ways to fly in the game including planes, hang gliders, rocket belts, and the ability to free-fall while skydiving.
Owners of the Wii Virtual Console version of the game, can upgrade to the Wii U version for $1.50. As with certain other VC games, the Wii U version adds the ability to play on the Wii U GamePad.
