According to Warner Bros. Interactive, Techland's new game won't be coming to the Wii U.

Dying Light, the new game from Dead Island developer Techland, will not be hitting Wii U as confirmed by the publisher, Warner Bros. Interactive.

This is unfortunate news from Warner Bros. Interactive after their troubling problems with Wii U DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Currently Dying Light is slated for release in 2014 on PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Fortunately, Warner Bros. Interactive is not completely abandoning the Wii U, with Scribblenauts: Unmasked coming later this year.

Why is this not coming out on WiiU?
It's coming out for 2 consoles with a huge install base and inferior hardware compared to the WiiU.
It's coming out for 2 consoles with zero install base and superior hardware compared to WiiU.
Why is this not coming out on WiiU?
I don't understand...

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

It was announced yesterday. Kotaku describes it as a "first-person free-running zombie survival game" and say it is essentially Mirror's Edge with zombies (even using the parkour gimmick from ME) and set in a Rio type environment. http://kotaku.com/surprise-dying-light-is-a-new-free-running-first-perso-509480939
