The koopa king joins other villains in a "bad guy support group."

Bowser, Zangief, Dr. Eggman, and Dr. Wily are making cameos in Disney's upcoming animated film, Wreck-It Ralph.

The reveal was made in Disney's D23 magazine, and shows the four in a "bad guy support group", alongside a previously revealed Kano and Pac-Man ghost. The appearances mirror those made in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, when Disney and Looney Tunes characters were also given cameo roles. The actual extent of these roles (and whether other video game cameos will occur) is unknown.

Wreck-It Ralph is a film by Walt Disney Animation Studios, which follows the titular character, the villain of an arcade game, attempting to prove that he has the ability to become a hero.

The film is scheduled for a November 2 release date.

I wonder if Ganondorf, Ghirahim, Vaati, King Dedede, Ridley, or any other Nintendo villains will be in the movie.

OK, I have been following the movie since last year when concepts of the movie first leaked out. I had friends that saw a storyboard sequence of a scene at last year's D23 convention (which they loved and can't wait for the movie). I even saw the mock arcade cabinet Disney had for the game, and I found out about these cameos from this article.

If Bowser and the rest of the characters will look like their actual selves (as in, they will look like the actual characters and are not fake interpretations of it) I am completely sold on this movie. Yes, I was already interested in the movie based on its concept, but this has not sold me.

The same D23 article also has artwork of other worlds, and the Halo-Space Marine world looks great, especially in how they captured the sci fi aspects of it.

Zangief? Wouldn't M. Bison be more appropriate if they're going for a failed Street Fighter villian?
OF COURSE!!

Bison's a really evil and serious villain vs Zangief who's really comical.  Zangief fits better with Bowser, Eggman and Wily who are also comical villains as well.

Now if the scene had Ganondorf, Sigma and Dracula then Bison would fit really well.

What Luigi Dude said. Wreck-It Ralph has been designed to be the typical cartoony-Nintendo-ish villain in that he is comical but still had evil intentions, which allows them to have a good side unlike villains like Ganondorf that are purely evil. The idea is to present Ralph as this average guy that does what he does because people expect him to do it. Bowser has been in a similar position in some of the Mario games, like him wishing to dance in DDR Mario Mix, trying to find a mother for Bowser Jr. in Mario Sunshine and just wishing to get some presents in Mario Party 4.

This looks good for my dream of one day playing a Kingdom Hearts game with Nintendo characters in it.

I saw a screen of it, and yes Bowser is the real Bowser and Eggman is the real Eggman! You are now all for it!
