MotoHeroz Arrives on WiiWare Next Week

The racing platformer from the creators of Trials HD has a release date and a new trailer. 

MotoHeroz will be available on WiiWare beginning on September 15 in both Europe and North America for 1500 Wii points, RedLynx announced today. In addition, a brand new trailer for the colorful racer was released.

MotoHeroz is a side-scrolling racer that combines the highflying gameplay of Trials HD with  platforming elements and rally racing. Varied race environments include a ice, desert, and moon level. There will be over 100 tracks, online leaderboards, and a story mode. Up to four friends can compete locally in the Party Rally mode.

September 7, 2011 (Helsinki, Finland) — RedLynx (redlynx.com) said today that MotoHeroz, its highly-anticipated release for Nintendo’s WiiWare service, will release in both Europe and the Americas on September 15 for 1500 Wii Points™.

Interesting. The name made me dismiss this game without a second look initially... then I saw who developed the game and decided to give it a second chance. Seriously: who picked the name for this game? Terrible.

As long as thsi gets good reviews, I'll pick it up. The only bad part so far is the $15 price tag.
