Level 5's Girls' RPG Cinderella Life is coming to the 3DS with a few changes.

Level 5’s upcoming Nintendo 3DS RPG for Japan, Kyaba Joppi, has been retitled and the theme has been reworked. The new title is Girls' RPG Cinderella Life, and references to the main character working as a hostess have been changed. The new name was chosen as a way of distancing the game from the hostess profession, as some people may be against the idea of hostesses, despite the game's comical portrayal.

The game begins with the player having just moved to the big city of Neo Ginza, trying to find a legendary lucky butterfly. There your character gets a job at a facility called Castle, after receiving information that the butterfly is located there. While working at Castle the player will interact with and serve customers in order to make them happy. The customers will range from in-game politicians, CEOs, VIPs, and even well-known anime and manga characters. Along with serving customers, the player will also be able to explore the city and access their room, where they can change their appearance by changing outfits and applying makeup. The game will also support Spot Pass, allowing for the exchange of business cards with other players, which bring the other player’s avatars into your game, as well as give you new items.

The game is being developed by a largely female development staff and will be coming out sometime at the end of this year. There is currently no information regarding a release outside of Japan, but considering the history of similar games, it is likely that this game will remain in the land of the rising sun.

I might be surprised by that if this weren't Japan.
