Inafune Starting Two New Companies

Keiji Inafune's Intercept is ready to develop games.

Keiji Inafune has announced the second of his new companies that he will be running, following his departure from Capcom. Intercept is his latest creation and will operate solely as a game production company. In a messge from the CEO on the website, Inafune calls it "my new challenge for consumer game development."

Late last year, the first of his companies Comcept launched. The official website also opened today, confirming that the existence of a main office in Tokyo and a branch office in Osaka, and capital of 10 million yen. The listed areas of business are diverse, covering consumer, online, and mobile game development, sales, and distribution, content planning and management for other entertainment content, character goods development, books, music, video, and events.

Inafune is expected to hold a press conference for potential "users" on April 4.

Keiji Inafune left Capcom in October 2010 after 29 years with the company.
