Peter Moore of EA Sports lets Wii owners know what's coming.
Peter Moore, president of Electronic Arts' EA Sports division, has revealed that EA currently has eight games in development for the Wii.
Speaking on his EA blog, Moore talked about the new properties his company is bringing to the Wii, such as the recently-announced Facebreaker boxing game. EA is looking to capitalize on the expanded audience Nintendo has created and "expand" the EA Sports brand to accommodate them.
"I can tell you we now have EIGHT titles in development for the Wii," said Moore in his blog post. "[It's a] testament both to the global impact of that console currently in the global marketplace, as well as to our desire to attract more consumers to experience EA SPORTS games, no matter their experience playing games nor their prowess with a traditional controller."
Moore did not make it clear whether those eight games in development all fall under the EA Sports label or if those games are in development across all four EA divisions (EA Games, Casual, Sports, and The Sims).
