The mono sound issue will be resolved the old fashioned way, apparently.

After it became known that the Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock was not outputting audio in its advertised Dolby Pro Logic II, or even in stereo sound, for that matter, people wanted to know how Activision was going to solve this problem.

Well, now we know. Activision has told IGN that it plans to offer remastered replacement discs that include the multi-channel sound that the original run of discs didn't have, for whatever reason.

The discs will be ready to go "by early 2008," according to an Activision spokesperson, and will be offered to consumers free of charge.

What I'd like to know is...has the game been recalled? Because I havent been able to find the Wii version.

This is the best idea I've ever heard.
