Top Gear GT Championship

When Kemco announced GT2000, later to be renamed Top Gear GT Championship, people got excited. It was one of the first GBA games to have screen shots that would make your jaw drop. The graphics are super crisp. The game uses Mode 7 scaling and rotation to achieve these fantastic effects, such as the 3D feel and the scaling sprites on the side of the road.

The game is your classic stock car racer. It features cars that are licensed from the All Japan GT Circuit. They are fully customizable, right down to engine tuning. Kemco is going for a sense of true realism with this game. The game is going to have a real sense of speed, according to Kemco. There are two classes in the game, GT300 and GT500. You start in the GT300 class and have to work your way up to the GT500 class.

The game also features some other notable features, namely a track editor. You can create your own tracks and race on them. This is going to be a sure-fire selling point for the game. The tracks in the game are all recreations of real tracks in the All Japan GT Circuit. Plus, the tracks will have weather conditions that will effect driving. The game also features link-play for up to 4 players, which is a big plus.

Top Gear GT Championship is a launch title in both Japan and North America.
