Tetris DSNintendo DS

Tetris DS is the first version exclusive to Nintendo DS, and it includes many features that could only be done on that system. There are (hopefully optional) touch screen controls, local wireless multiplayer for up to ten players on just one game card, and online multiplayer over Nintendo WFC for up to four players.

The game has six different modes of play, each one based on a classic Nintendo franchise. Metris lives!

Classic Mode is Mario-themed and is the basic mode of play for Tetris. Mario runs around in various Super Mario Bros. levels while you play.

Touch Mode is Balloon Fight-themed and is much slower-paced than other modes. Players can use the stylus to shift Tetris pieces around the touch screen to clear lines, and can tap pieces to rotate them.

Push Mode is Donkey Kong-themed and requires players to clear two lines at a time to push opponents into the red zone. This mode is available for DS Download Play and Wi-Fi Connection.
