Team Planet Prize Trivia Tonight at 9p CT!
« on: December 05, 2002, 08:32:31 PM »
Two-man teams make for twice the action and twice the fun, but a small rule tweak and a nice mystery prize will make it even more exciting.  Click for details.

Planet Trivia is back after a nice weekend off.  Full of turkey and ready to go, we've decided to make this evening's occasion a Team event.  Get into the chatroom early so that you can find a partner, make up a team name, and be ready for action!

Tonight's winners will recieve a mystery prize of some sort.  Well, it's not really a mystery, since we will say that it will be a videogame poster of some kind.  Which game will it be of?  You'll have to show up tonight to see exactly what it is you're playing for.  It'll be the perfect thing to cover up that bare wall you have staring back at you in your room or that empty void on your ceiling.

Also new for Team Trivia is an exciting new scoring format.  To promote the teamplay aspect of Team Trivia, teams can now earn bonus points for both players of a team scoring.  This means your team will need to work together to attain a maximum score.  Even though the questions are still worth a point each, how you distribute the scoring amongst teammates might very well determine the outcome of the game.

For a more detailed explanation on the new rules of Team Trivia, be sure to read the Team section of the rules page.  Also don't forget to read the rest of the rules, as well as the updated team section of the Strategy Guide.  Finally, it might be wise to check out the Trivia Stats Page so you can see who has a reputation of scoring points.  Finding a partner that can score is the key to winning at Team Trivia.

So get there early, grab a partner, and good luck tonight in Team Trivia!
