Those slow aliens are about to get a bit more speedy.

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. will be receiving an update in the near future that will speed up enemy turns.

On the traditional 3DS units the update will speed up enemy turns by approximately two times the normal speed. Those playing on New Nintendo 3DS systems will be able to enjoy getting about a three times normal speed boost.

A new public tournament has also gone live in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. called Hijinks. The tournament will run from today to April 5th and those who do well will earn custom titles that other players in the game will see online.

Was waiting for this kind of update before even considering a purchase. Glad it was addressed. Curiously, Shibata didn't even mention speed-up...

What will 2x, 3x speed-up will mean in actual seconds?

I was glad to see this. I've only tried the demo and even from that, the turns felt slow. I can only imagine how long it would take on larger levels.

I wonder if all the websites that complained about this will update the review score.

It's good to know they listen to reviewers though
