GungHo doesn't back away from its original plan.

Despite the announcement of Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, GungHo Online Entertainment is still planning to release the original Nintendo 3DS game in the west.

The Puzzle & Dragons Twitter mentioned how a western release of the SMB edition would be announced through Nintendo and this left some fans feeling a bit bitter. One fan felt they were denied the chance to play the expanded version of the original game, but GungHo was swift to respond, ''actually [Puzzle & Dragons Z] was officially announced for a western release by our company president - no details at this time, but stay tuned!''

Nintendo and GungHo haven't released any more details about the western Puzzle & Dragons 3DS releases.

I would be nice to see at least an eShop NA/EU/OC release of Puzzle & Dragon Z. Given it's age and the upcoming Puzzle & Dragon: Super Mario Bros. Edition, I hope it will be priced at US$20-30.
