« on: September 09, 2014, 02:25:00 PM »

It's all about the ladies on this week's Connectivity as we discuss Metroid Zero Mission and Bayonetta 2.

Can you smell that? Episode 150 of Connectivity is almost here! But first it's time for Episode 149, so let's get to it!

In our first segment, Danny and Jonny talk about our Game of the Week, Metroid Zero Mission. Is it the secret best 2D Metroid game? Listen and find out.

In segment two, Daan and Scott preview the forthcoming Bayonetta 2 for Wii U.

Our third and final segment is a bonus: Zack and Scott return to their occasional discussion of PC gaming.

It's almost episode 150! You should definitely send us some listener mail. Send it now by clicking . Also, please rate and review the show on iTunes.

@24:00 Uh... Johnny, what are you going on about? there's a very small underwater section down there that's still considered part of chozodia/the Space Pirate mothership. it really only contains a couple of power bomb tanks and a Shinespark Path to what I usually consider to be the last energy tank. It's not like they have a whole optional Maridia down there with a Draygon boss fight.

On Star Wars games. Man these Jedi Knight games were great! And multiplayer with swordfighting and powers. Absolutely nothing quite like it.

Haven't played Republic Commando myself, but from i saw my friend playing it (and then replaying it almost a decade later), it's a solid game.

Mass Effect on PC not having proper controller support is the main reason i can't play it. It's mindboggling and outright criminal that a console game had controller option taken out, not once, not twice, but three times in a row.

None of the three Mass Effect games on PC support controller. Unbelievable.

Speaking of the Jedi Knight games. Why didn't they ever port one of them to Wii AFTER Motion plus came out?!?
That would have been awesome!!!

Does anyone know the song before the Bayonetta 2 segment?
You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?

Really enjoyed the show this week. One of those cases where all the topics discussed interest me, so the whole episode just comes alive.  Nice work (as usual) guys!

Ack, I can't believe I forgot to include the song info in the show notes this week. Sorry. They're included now.

Anyway, the song is a remix of Anamaguchi's "Prom Night". The remix was done by Lindsey Lowend. It's part of the 3 track Prom Night EP.

You can download it for free on SoundCloud at https://soundcloud.com/anamanaguchi/prom-night-lindsay-lowend?in=anamanaguchi/sets/prom-night-2014-single
