Machete Brawl, the follow-up to q-bit's Machete, is expected to release later this year on the Wii U.

The game is about an islander family who sets up a rather interesting tournament. The prize? A Mighty Golden Carrot Trophy! Players will fight their way to the golden carrot through a variety of stages, with different weapons and bonuses included throughout. The game will also support up to 5 players for some fact-paced multiplayer action.

No general timing was stated regarding its release other than later this year, but we'll let you know as soon as word is out.
