I'm not saying he's not entitled to his own opinion, it's just that the way he wrote that quote makes it seem he hasn't even played the game, basing his "opinion" on looks alone.

You freaks, why cant you just ignore ignorant statements. Yes he did say Zelda is a great dissapointment and didnt play it yet, but, so what. You Nintendo fanatics have to learn to ignore such statements. Its getting sick, every time someone expresses dislike against the new graphics style of Zelda a whole new big clash arrises. Just be happy that you played and enjoyed it.

Prejudice sucks, but its human, thats why we have wars.

I'm not raging against him or something.  I'm just telling him the truth about the game, and hoping that maybe he'll go out, play it, and like it as much as I did.  We were perhaps a bit harsh, but we've had a lot of this BS through the months.  Anyway, 220man, if you haven't played Zelda, I suggest it.  Big time.  Play it.

Nor am I prejudiced.  I dislike people because of who they are, not what they are.  However, what they are often hints at who they are; I'm more inclined to like someone that likes Zelda than someone that does not, for example.

I have no problem with someone saying that a gaim sucks, but when they say "Hey you know that game that sold a million copies in a week, man I looked at one screenshot and can say for sure that it is utter garbage. I can't believe that anyone would want to play this game, you dont even get to kill any hookers or anything cool like that."

I concur... and your GTA reference is well placed.. im getting sick of the Grand Theft Auto garbage.. i loved the first two titles, but GTA 3  lacked what i enjoyed about the first two (the great speed of the police chases) and i haven't even thought about playing GTA Vice City, i suppose i will someday.. but in my opinion this Grand Theft Auto generation BS needs to end, it isn't helping to put gaming in a good light
I'll shut up now...

Has anyone noticed that  unlike the old Mario Karts on this game the same character can be used twice? Maybe you guys braught it up earlier but it makes me think there will be just a bit more than 20 characters.  Mario was riding with Bowser but on the rank list Bowser was also with Baby Bowser riding a kart.

yeah, i noticed that earlier too.
maybe there are extra characters, maybe there aren't.
but then it would make sense, since then everyone can have the weapon advantages of the characters.

I saw that screenshot too, and noticed, but no, I read that you can only pick a character once.  There are secret characters, though.

Those who played the demo at E3 said that you couldn't select multiple of the same character.  So those early screenshots showing multiple of the same character being played seem to just be "in development" screens.  We'll just have to wait for more information to come from Nintendo to know for sure.

So do you get to choose your racing partner? If its not selected in teams that would be great. That would definetly add a cool aspect to the game.

Yes you choose the Driver and the Partner, and depend who you chose the stats on how the kart will handle changes.

I think I read that you choose both players and then you also choose your kart. Not sure about that though.

Thats right. You pick both characters (all players choose at the same time so you have to be fast to get the character you want) then you pick the Kart. So You could pick Mario and Luigi and use Bowsers Kart. The Kart will handle based on who is driving. So you can switch characters that handle differently to make the tracks easie.

Interesting concept. Maybe the kart will behave differently in the jumps depending of who's riding it and how heavy it is.

You pick kart and both characters.  The kart determines weight and stats of the vehicle, and the characters may alter handling, but their main purpose is variety of weapons.
