This better be true because I couldnt get ahold of a Cube or PS2 version of Burnout 2 for some reason.

Burnout2 was a lot of fun, the crash mode was probably one of the most fun I've played in a racing game this generation. One of the Rush games holds the top spot for all time.

If Burnout 3 is indeed coming to the Cube, then i'll be very happy.

I don't care if there is no online play for the Cube version.

Well, I'm not surprised if it's true.  I told everyone to wait and see.  They claimed Burnout 2 was only coming to the PS2, and we all saw how that turned out.  The release may have been late and extremely limited, but it was released.

Hopefully things will be better this time around as a result of Burnout 3 having a "better" publisher than Burnout 2 did.

I want burnout 3 to have a LAN mode, though it'll be ok if they don't put one in there, but I love LAN gaming better than online stuff. It's funner to play games like Counter Strike and Mario Kart w/ people in the same room.

I think EA held a gun to Criterion's head. "Look, they've PAID to get that game and they don't like being dissappointed, capiche?"

I'm actually sure its criterion that most likely convinced EA.
Or maybe they just got smart and looked at the Sales Statistics.

I found burnout got boring rather quick and was way to arcady for my tastes. I much prefer a realistic racer.
Has anyone here played TOCA Driver 2? It is IMO the best realistic racer I have ever played.

KDR: how do you know that?( i'm just wondering, not trying to call you a liar or anything.)

I hope this is true, I have been waiting for a good arcade style racer that isnt futruristic.

I do love a good Arcade racer.  Rush 2 is still one of my favorite racing games of all time.  Just fun to run around super fast in cars even if it isn't realistic.

Why would they not want it out on the cube?  It sold more on cube, and they enhanced the port specifically for cube.  (Likewise, teh xbox port was even enhanced over that)

I read a (very long) interview with the creater of the company, the interview just avoided the topic alltogether.
Please, show proof of this.
