I just have to say that i have played and loved Resident Evil 0, 1, and Eternal Darkness, but feel like they did little to scare me, what are games that offer true scares?

I don't see the difference between this thread and the other thread started by the same person about not having enough mature rated games on GC. Redundant?

I don't know why some people put ED in the survival horror category.  I can't believe this is happening.

Pretty much why Capcom created Resident Evil 4.  Diary notes may mention the undead, although it looks as if the only thing we'll be fighting against in this game is huge monsters and crazed villagers... who are lethal, fast and intelligent enough to set up an ambush.

To be honest, I didn't really happen to like Eternal Darkness.  I found it as more of an adventure game then a survival horror... probablly for the fact (or opinion) that it wasn't scary to me at all.  Zombies and monsters with colors of the rainbow didn't really appeal to me all that much.  Psychological horror games aren't my sort, although Silent Hill is something that'd catch my attention.

But I do agree, that we need at least ONE more saga of survival horror for the cube.  But then again, the Resident Evil games are taking such a large change storywise and in gameplay that they seem like different games anyway... so how could you go wrong with not liking the horror that the GCN has?

I just finished the Suffering and have to say it is one of my favorite survival horror games of all time. To bad Midway pulled it from the cube as it may have found a few homes and would have surely helped with the "kiddie" image better than any game released.
