Hylian History

I must be extremely stupid. I was playing the adventures of link and I got fet up with it.  So then I started playing ocarina of time and I finished the first half of the game and became the hero of time.  When that happened and I met the first sage(and I had met him many times before) I noticed that every town but one in the adventures of link were named after the sages in ocarina of time.  Rauru(light), Sarai(forest), Darunia(fire), ruto(water), nabooru(the thief), the only one that doesnt have a town is impa.  Finally there are two towns left in the adventures of link.  One was named after our annoying friend mido, and the other doesnt have a reference.  I just cant believe I didnt see the connection this whole time.

Yep, because the sages were passed down as legend(stained glass in WW proves this) it seems that the people of Hyrule used them to name their villages...Either way, I love nostalgia... ^_^

I have just realized what you guys are talking about.  I was looking at the glass, and I saw Saria.  Then I saw the Shiek, and Darunia. Its amazing.  I have never realized that before.

There are really lots of things relating to previous games in the wind waker. The stained glass is just one of them. Anyone noticed that the Hero's shield (the 1rst one) has the same look as your shield in Link's Awakening? or that the bunny hood is in the workshop of the figurine-maker? He also ownes one of the origami-cows from Majora's Mask.
Let's make this a topic where people can tell about these little extra's...
