Pong(does this count as a console?)

I'd have to say it does, even though there's no other games or anything. I should have put Pong as one of my favorites, my grandparents still have it and I play it every chance I get. It's simplicity is it's genius.

no, we need EVERYONE who comes to PGC to pos in this thread! That would bump it up to over 3000 easily, and knock off the Aussie thread as the biggest thread here on the forums.

Well, Kitten, I guess I'll be a loser with you because all I've had is a SNES from '93 and then GC. Oh, I do have a GBA SP too, but that is still well below 5.

I've only ever had one girlfriend, it was in 5th grade. I think she could be considered clinically isnane, though- she moved to Georgia almost 4 years ago. I'm friends with a couple of girls, but that's about as far as I've gotten. I really don't see how I could be with anyone who wasn't as huge a gamer as I am- it just wouldn't work out.

Really?  Congrats!

I'm really against dating at a young age, though.  So it doesn't really bother me.  Except for the fact that all my friends are cool (read:  they all have girlfriends), yet I'm not.

Bash, come on guys, you can't let me be the one who seems to always have a girlfriend

So here is my information, since I am sure you guys are just dying to hear it

Age: 15

First Console: first I had was super nes, brother had a magnavox odyssey

Game that got me hooked: super mario all stars

Consoles I personally have owned (in order of purchase): superNES, NES, genesis, gameboy, n64, psx, dc, saturn, gba, gamecube, ps2, xbox

favorite console and why: N64, just what got me into gaming magazines, and brought me into looking up titles in advance, etc.

favorite games: doom, digdug, mario 1,2,3 world, 64, sunshine, goldeneye, loz: lttp, OoT, MM, WW; DDR-DDR Max, Radiant Silvergun, Panzer Dragoon (blah the one for saturn), nights, phantasy star 2, super metroid, ED

Most anticipated game: Doom 3, DDR Max 2, Mario Kart Double Dash

Favorite Genre: First person shooter (PC style)

Future wishes: graphics: the point where artists can start to cause illusory that makes the senses forget what they are doing, especially in games like morrowind, where good and evil decisions seem so distant

gameplay: a wide range of very simple games (pac man, digdug) but with the option of vastly complex games where controls are many

control: voice commands, nerve impulses, etc

story: again a wide variety. I like games like eternal darkness because they play into the books I have read, but still would like seemingly pointless games that are just for fun

companies: you know, I really don't care too much in either direction, as long as games still become an area where small guys can come in. I don't like the gaming industry turning into the movie industry any more than it has now. We don't need to be digging through the rubble of many horrible games looking for a good game. There should be a mix where there are games that are made to go for everyone, but also games that are niche, neither of these groups need to go.

audio: follow my thoughts of graphics, emersing

First console: Atari 2600

Game that really got me into gaming: Fantasy Zone on Master System

Consoles owned: Atari 2600, Atari Lynx, Nintendo, Super NES, Mega Drive/II, Master System/II, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Saturn, strange little Pong machine thing...

Favourite console and why: Super NES. Many a great RPG was discovered on it. Terranigma, 'nuff said. Not to mention it provided lots of 2-Player fun with the likes of TMNT 4, Bomerman and Mario Kart. And yeah, there was Earthworm Jim (LENS FLARE! WOW!), DKC, Mario World... Holy crap I got alot of value out of that machine!

Favourite games: Sonic 2 on Master System, I don't know why, really.. It just is! Zelda on the NES, because it was the first RPG I played, and it took forever for me and my friends to crack some of the puzzles
Erm, Earthworm Jim, because at the time, I'd never seen a game with graphics THAT slick. It was awesome. Soundtrack is still stuck in my head, too. Aw hell, I have lots. Mario World, Sonic & Knuckles, Mario 64, GoldenEye, Asteroids, Teddy Boy, Golden Axe, Lemmings... *and so on!*

Most anticipated games: Viewtiful Joe, 1080: A, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Sonic Heroes, Project Zero 2 (Fatal Frame 2), Resident Evil 4, Billy Hatcher and finding a damn copy of Story of Thor 2 for the Saturn! *Shakes fist*

Favourite genre: RPG and platform. RPG offers lots to do, and platform games.. Are... Fun...

Wish for the future of gaming: That all PAL games have a 60Htz option ;___;
