GameCube was a hard sell though when both of your competitors had DVD play back when DVD was the hot new thing and your machine had those weird mini discs and a handle that made it look like a toy. I wouldn't blame Reggie for any of that, he didn't design the console how do you market a console with poor design but amazing games they did the best they could focusing entirely on the games. If there is one thing I would point to he might have done better, or NOA anyways, would have been fighting to get those network adapters in more stores and fighting to get some online added, at least in NA, for those games that people expected to have it. He Xbox came out guns blazing with their Live and took the whole world by storm.
NOA has always been behind the times though, I remember people complaining during the SNES days Japan had games we didn't and they always did neat stuff like game downloads, really cool you promotions and the like. It seems like in America they just kind of treat it like "here is our product now buy it or not we don't care."
