Celebrating Mario Kart Wii's last days online
« on: April 26, 2014, 12:42:27 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Mario Kart Wii is one of my all time favourite games and in large part because of its online play. Sadly, its days are numbered and while we'll soon have Mario Kart 8, I thought this might be a nice opportunity to celebrate Mario Kart Wii as well as to tune up our skills for its coming successor.

So, I guess I'm just throwing it out there that if anyone else would like to take that one last spin, I'm game to play.

My Wii friend code is 5026-4895-7049 (and it hopefully works in Wii mode) if anyone wants to join me.

Let's have some fun.

-Jason

PS: I apologize if this was already discussed in another thread. I did try to find one.

I loaned my buddy the game the week it came out and he lost it. I didn't get online once.

I'll be on 8 for a long while but now no one else will own the game...
Nintendo players and One Piece readers, just better people.

Can anyone remind me if you could do 3-4 splitscreen in Mario Kart Wii and go online like that?
I'm asking because of this.

Just checked it myself -- no, you couldn't, just two splitscreen players for online. I must have been imagining thing.
