Another thread like this! Time for me to say my line again!
*sigh*
The game industry is a paradox. Gamers hardly buy GC cause no one develops for it. And developers hardly make games (decent games for that matter) cause no one buys GC.
It's a conspircay.

Like someone said before, it's like the chicken and the egg.
For us, it's a never ending spiral into bankruptcy. NIntendo can't survive on their fans only. But the steps they are taking with 3rd parties are great, since it just doesn't involve simply making a game. They have to make the game under certain conditions, like quality gameplay, and maximum use of the hardware. SO far, only Capcom, Sega, Namco, EA and Konami have fit the bill for Nintendo. All other 3rd parties must work harder in order to be spoken with these developers in the same light, and that's why Nintendo hasn't 'chosen' them yet, if ever.
