Topic: No News on AC2?

Did Nintendo not show anything on the next Animal Crossing at E3? I haven't heard about their doing so yet. If not, I would be saddened.

Nintendo isn't very far past the PLANNING stages yet, so I wouldn't expect anything on AC2 till at least next E3...and that's being optimistic.  AC2 is shooting for a late 2004 release in the States.

Alright. I hadn't check on the progress in a while. I was just wondering. I'm a huge AC fan, but I have worn out the original now.

Nope, It's a 2004 title, and too many of those weren't shown at E3. Mainly just Resident Evil 4...

I fear AC2 won't show up until next-gen. The japaneses get a release of the american version of AC... and then there is this deal with EA and this Sims project on GC/GBA : Sims and AC battle in the same genre category (though I prefer a lot AC), Nintendo won't take the risk to overshadow EA title to keep this third party happy...

The Sims is gonna show up far before AC2. Besides, AC1 and The Sims are living together in harmony on the same shelves right now, aren't they? There sequels should do fine too. Besides, most average Joe's don't know they are in the "same genre".
