So I'm in bed, feeling really awful and trying and failing to get to sleep, so I'm browsing the forums on my phone. I get to a certain thread and two sons of bitches are in a massive, very personal flame war. Suddenly I have to get out of bed and go down to my computer so I can put the thread out of its misery and ban the **** out of the perpetrators.

Any of you who saw what was going on, that was exactly the opposite of the kind of discussion you should be having here.

Yes, perma. Earlier in the thread I told them to cut it out and they did it a ton more. And certain aspects of the forums and basically everything about posting on the front page don't work in iOS browsers.

I've been going back and listening to old RFNs, and they reminded me of the time SUPER hacked the forums and banned everybody in order to expedite forum upgrades. Maybe we should try that.

Maybe we should just pay Super to actually hack the forums and ban everyone again.  But do it in a way that doesn't trace back to us.
