well on the gamepro forums there was a little slipup that has now obviously been corrected(still take this as RUMOR)

1) "Fear"- Miyamoto-headed project which tells the tale of a young boy overcoming many fears
2)"Ground Zero"- Nintendo/Unknown Second-party Developer- all that is known is that it will unlike anything else before...could this be "Game Zero"?  And if it is, is Zoonami now a second party?

edit: oops, didn't see that there was a topic on these two games already

lol Dr. Evil, we need a emotioncon for that

is there anything big for GC other than what we know of from 3rd parties? I would like to see Panzer dragoon from Sega and Shenmue3, why in hell would they put those on xbox when they haven't sell well at all?

No wonder sega is in debt. The president needs to go, that's poor management.

Yeah me too, I want to be surprised, I think I'm going to try and see if I can resist not checking any gamesites until the 16th of May ^_^

After first seeing Pac-Man, I thought "LAME!".  But then I was reading about it and it sounded pretty cool, haha.   But I still hope this isn't it... c'mon, there just has to be something else... this just isn't "big" enough.

Good point, however, I always enjoyed pac-man, but to me it will be a big announcement if it has more to it then the GBA/Gamecube multiplayer link feature.  Im not sure exactly what...but something more...

Another thing is...how does one a.) Do something with Pac-Man that hasnt been done? or b.) Modify the simple gameplay of Pac-Man without ruining it?  (Asides from the multiplayer link feature)

We have seen alot of Pac-Man games in the past; from bigger mazes, 3D platforming games, better graphics...but for such a simple design, its hard to add to it without ruining the magic. Although im sure Nintendo will think of something to entice gamers to buy it. I just hope its magical thats all.

There are several things that could be called a "big annoucement"

1) New Zelda for GC shown
2) This "Ground Zero" is supposedly "the biggest thing seen on the GC"
3) Something that we have not even heard a rumor about

And, of course, comes the same simple answer we have learned to hate with a passion..."Just wait till E3"

Quite true.

And I hope the Pac-Man announcement was not the "BIG" announcement.

It was confirmed that both Fear and Groud Zero were fakes.
And I doubt there will be anything at E3 we don't know about yet, given the fact how many things already leaked. But it's always nice to think "well, at least there's something big we haven't heard about!"

I also agree with the aformentioned comments. Nothing wrong with a Pac Man remake per se... but its not a Big announcement that would impress enough people into buying Gamecubes... They need something bigger like a Square-Nintendo made Super Mario RPG... or better yet a Nintendo Kingdom Hearts type game with people from Nintendo games like Pit, Link and Mario, and people from BOTH Final Fantasy games and Dragon Warrior games...

Wow a new pacman game would surely get those Cubes flyin from the store's shelves ...

I'm not hoping for some big announcement from Nintendo at E3, and I think those who are still hoping will be disappointed ...
