Guess it's been a few pages since it was listed.

We do have a white list going though to stop random people from joining and griefing, but it's open to all the nwr community. Just let me know your minecraft name and we will get you on the whitelist. If you don't want to post it here, you can pm me.

I wish i had a week off, i would just build a gigantic new palace, and put my old palace...inside it. The new height limit makes this ridiculous possibility possible. I could Also make automated billboards.

I gotta say you guys have to check out Oblivions pvp arena, that thing looks seriously dangerous.

I built a small temple near my house. I was going to fill it with book shelves, but then I remembered how you can do enchanting tables. Luckily I had just enough diamonds from digging to make a diamond pick and half 3 left over. I needed two to make the table.

Anyway, there is now an enchanting table in there. I used up all 8 of my levels on it. It's pretty cool.

Also near my house on the desert line.. There is some more obsidian. There was a pool of lava there.. I watered it to make the obsidian. I really have no use for it though, I just needed four to make the table.

I will warn whoever wants it though. Be careful of lava beneath the obsidian. I almost fell in. So just mine it carefully.

P.S big thanks to Oblivion for all the bread.. That will keep me fed for sometime thanks again

Just a heads up it might be a little bit before the server gets upgraded to 1.3. Will have to wait till the next bukkit update. Although the team says it should be up fairly soon and they are hard at work. Just wanted to let everyone know. Hopefully won't be that long.

Just thought I would let anyone know that the server has been upgraded to a beta client of the new bukkit version. So it's running the newest patch for minecraft client. Seems to be running alright so far.

so both Barbiz and TheDen are back up. We hope to see Shyguy return. I'm renovating Permville. Town Center has an enormous skyscraper with Shyguy building style colors.

also, would like to see some Stratos, im working on a monorail. Need to redo the railines in the city.

Suppose I should post here, although I really don't want to bump the thread. I know not many have been playing on the Survival server much. (though it was fun while it lasted, I didn't expect it to last forever)

Thing is the host I rented it from Lethaldrive. Has decided to close/merge with another company with zero notice to it's customers. For the time being the server is shut down as they go through this. They didn't give me any notice. I apologize to anyone who invested time on the server and feels lost on it. I certainly didn't mean for this to happen.

Again I apologize to anyone who feels affected by it.

Well as of right now I don't know. I'm kinda angry about them just suddenly passing along all my billing information with no warning. Right now I cannot even access the things they emailed me saying I could.

If nothing else I am trying to get access to the old server via ftp. I would like to get a copy of the world dat. So I could at least upload it somewhere for anyone here to download if they wanted to continue it on. Right now though I am being denied access. Once again I apologize to everyone.

Whew.. 3 days of support tickets and emails later. I was finally able to at least get copy of the server files.
I would recommend people stay away from lethaldrive servers, except they just went under so no reason to stay away from them anymore.. Heh..

Anywho. I spent all morning getting this done. I zipped together the world dat files from the server and uploaded them so anyone can download them. I had to make a free account with Mediafire to do so, so there is no guarantee how long the download link will last. So might want to get it as soon as you can.

I was able to use the files to get a local copy version of the server. (At least the normal world) Up and running within a few minutes. They seem a bit disorganized with how a vanilla server stores it's files. But moving them around a bit I was able to get them to work and the world looked like it was all there.

Really didn't have too much more time work on it, I gotta eat something and get to work. I just feel a bit better this morning knowing that at least the server files were recovered, so technically if someone feels up to it, it can live on. I suppose if nothing else everyone can download a copy and have a copy of the work everyone put in too.

Again I apologize for any problems this has caused everyone. It certainly was not my intentions.

Hey, we had fun while it lasted and we all appreciate the effort you put into making the server happen. There will be plenty more opportunities in the future I'm sure. I'm hoping to have more time in the future for Minecraft.
