Kush sent his kills in advance, apparently, and Mop it up is the henchman.

Well first of all thank you stevey for hosting this game.It was as good as the Hawtness game that you did before.

Second of all Khushrenada came up with a brilliant plan.
He had the first 3 days of hits sent in. thatguy was the first hit.If thatguy was voted out it would fall to a Stratos hit.
Day 2 hits I think had Jrlibrarian as the hit.If JR was voted out or killed it would be Stratos. There was a delimia we had with Stratos and Vudu.If Jr was voted out that would make stratos the hit.On the other hand if vudu was voted out he had the ability to take one person out in the game.If vudu was voted than Stratos could investigate someone. vudu was right about 2 of us in the Day 2 thread.Unfortunatly for the townies he also named a townie so maybe that put doubt into other players minds.The next day I was watching the thread and was pretty happy at what I was seeing.Everybody pointing fingers at everybody except the Mafia.noname2200 was voted out. He had made good points I feel later on in the day.
Vudu was the hit that night. so thankfully we didn't have much to worry about.There was a few scenarios which could cause problems today.

Overall I think I did a bit above average.

As for the standout townies I think noname2200 was their best player.

As far as best player on the Mafia side I think if me and Mop it up didn't help Khushrenada's plan come together I don't think we would have won. We had to take a lot of risk.But since Mop it up was alive longer and helped in the end with gaining Toruresu's trust I think she should be the best player on the team. I had some good ideas for the game.While Khushrenada had ways of decieving players.

So yeah Mop it up was the best player.

That was one of the points Khushrenada made at the start of the game. That is why thatguy or Stratos was to be taken out.They think outside the box.

Toruresu: I hope you aren't feeling hurt. I'm not really sure what happened in the game since I played it safely away. I realize this might seem a hollow victory but it is more a reconcilitory gesture I think. That's the up and down of the game. There are games where I made wrong choices. But the good thing is, with every new game, the slate is new and you always get a chance to make a play you'll remember more proudly. If you don't want to play, that's fine. No one's going to force you. I just think if you're going to retire, do it on a high note, not when you feel low.

I know. I knew if this plan worked I'm never going to be allowed to hide. But I liked the idea of hiding in the shadows and looming over the game like a deadly specter.

I had come up with this plan along time ago. In fact, the idea first started sparking in my head after Stevey's first hosted game. So, it's sort of come full circle. Once I saw my role and read the rules, realized the benefits of my mafia, I knew this was probably going to be my best chance to act. I took it and it worked. But as I told my mafia, I felt bad in the end because they ended up having to do most of the work. Left me feeling guilty. So, I give a hearty thanks to Maxi and Mop it up.

Well Khushrenada we did have a perfect setup for your plan as far as players go. I was really worried since there was lots of players on the other side that knew both me and Mop it up well.

I've actually have been thinking about my play some while reading over past games and I don't think I was good enough showing that I was a townie to everybody and not just certain people. I'll have to be more consistant going forward.

That's fun.  On day one, I suspected vudu and Maxi.  On day two, vudu, Maxi, and Mop it up.  Then, after learning from Mop it up directly that she wasn't the killer or the godfather, I believed vudu, Maxi, and Plugabugz were mafia.  From there, seeing that vudu had killed Dasmos and not me, I believed it wasn't Plugabugz, but rather Toruresu who was playing the godfather.  Had I been in the game and paying attention, maybe I would have figured out that Khush sent everything in before-hand, but outside of it all, I didn't pay it much thought, save a little bit when stevey reiterated how is "order of hits" works.

That said, had I lived and decided to kill on day two, it looks like my initial lists were pretty good, and might've worked out nicely, but what's done is done.  I really should've gone after someone the first night, like I wanted to with my first instinct, but it wouldn't have made a difference, I'm sure Khush had his hits in even before mid-day the first day, so I wouldn't have even gotten a chance for a hit.

It was fun.  Now Khush and I actually need to work out the details of our game, I believe.

Yeah, I had my hits all in on Sunday. I didn't plan on showing up again until I did now at the end of the day like I did today. I like a dramatic entrance. But when I came to NWR at work Monday morning, my account was still logged in there. I quickly logged out but it left my timestamp as Monday morning which bugged me. While that worried me, I knew that with time, I would still be passed over as an active player.

Maxi, you have improved. I was suspicious of you, but you are getting better at not obviously being mafia.

I'm rather flattered that Khush viewed me as enough of a threat to make me the number 2 kill on the first two days. I did mention in the day two thread that we should off Khush if he doesn't show by day three just to be safe.

A pity I never mentioned NoName to Toru, as that might have allowed them to salvage a fight. But instead my attempt to shield my allies from potential harm I caused more damage.

Toru, I never tend to reveal everything to my allies in this game. Because if you really were mafia, I would have revealed all of my allies to you if I told you every one I've been talking too...though I then told Mop it up EVERYTHING. I trusted her way too much. I guess our working together so much in past games made me think I could trust her when I was in need. And she played along asking me questions and such while I blab on.

DAMN YOU MAFIA!  You could have won the game a day sooner if you had contacted me.

I suspected Mop it up was mafia on day 3--that's why I told her who I was targeting that night.  But I wasn't 100% certain so I couldn't come out and tell her my plan.  If you had let me kill Plugabugz on Day 3 and then you had killed someone else the game would have been over then.  It would have been you two, me and one townie.  I would have immediately joined you and the game would have ended 3 mafia vs. 1 townie.  But NooooOOOOOOOOOOooooo you just had to kill me and drag this out an extra day.  Nuts to that.

Also, Khush's win strategy pretty much shows how broken this game is--non-participation should not be a valid strategy.  We really need to make it that you have to vote every single day or you die.  It seems to be the only way to encourage people to show up and actually play the damn game.

Finally, night actions should not be prioritized by the order they were sent to the host.  This is especially true when players are allowed to send in their night actions days ahead of time.  That **** is broken, yo.

Dude, hats off to you on this one.  While I admit that this seems contrary to the spirit of the rules, it's a brilliant way to play according to the letter, so color me impressed.  The fact that you identified all three of the non-mafia with power roles before the game began is especially awesome; how'd you pull that one off?  When Stevey later said that people could PM their night actions days ahead of time I got a bit suspicious, but the fact that Stratos was knocked off on Day Two, after he'd revealed his role to everybody, convinced me that whoever was killing folks had to be an active player.  Vudu warned me otherwise, but when combined with the fact that townies never got a PM, and that three of us didn't realize the game was until a few days later, I took your not logging in as a sign that you had to be a townie.  I got suckered bad!

  Anyhow, I agree with all of your points.  The only thing I'd add is  that perhaps the next game might forbid PM-ing other players, so that  everything that's said gets said in the public eye; I think that tends  to make it more fun, since everyone has to watch what they say even  more closely.

  If it makes you feel any better, you played a role in lynching four people, and even led the charge the last two days.  Only Mop it up and vudu can rival your kill count!

  You're too kind.  Seriously.  All I did was spin my wheels for two  days, then get killed off.  My attempt to recruit more townies and get  them to lynch Mop it up failed miserably when mysticgohan showed up a  day late, khushrenada never answered (I wonder why...), and plugabugz  basically said he didn't care and then voted for mysticgohan.  Once  plugabugz voted I basically gave up,  and even went and accused  toruresu of being mafia despite my uncertainty.  I really need to  improve at this game.

Yeah I did.  In hindsight, I read the "(Moderators: Khushrenada, stevey)" part and for some reason added them to the "_____ are viewing this board" list.  A mistake on my part, but it was apparent that telling that to toruresu wasn't going to get me anywhere.  And since I was confident that Mop it up was mafia, that vudu was going to kill me that night anyways, and that none of the three missing were going to show up to play I never bothered to say it.

You saying that convinced me 100% that you were Mafia. Then when I pointed it out, your reply "Oh noes, were caught" I totally read it as "darn it, I'm the only active mafia player and the Godfather, we are doomed!". I was so naive!
