Well, I'm one of those people who aren't willing to pay for Live because I'm perfectly happy with what the PC offers.

The Nintendo Life review of Frogger Returns was very negative, seems it's just regular Frogger in 3D, not the awesome Frogger 3D game from the PS1 era that had many different levels (including the classic road).

I was looking forward to discussion of the new Wii Prince of Persia, but I just finished the episode (and then doubled back through the episode to double-check) and if I'm not mistaken you guys never actually talked about it (outside of mentioning that you'd talk about it later).  :confused;   Did I just miss it, or did that end up on the cutting room floor?

OMG I remember that Frogger game!

I can't remember if we did talk about it again, but at that point I had literally played 15 minutes of the game. From putting in about two hours or so, I can say that it's what you'd expect it to be: a decent Prince of Persia game with some fun Wii functionality. I've gotten two of the three sand pointer power-ups, and while the game doesn't impress graphically, it runs fine and the environments are laid out well. My opinion could change as I get closer to the end, but right now I have to say that this is a pretty solid game. It's not spectacular, but it's good at what it sets out to do.

I prefer Ultra (the DS Kirby Superstar) still because unlike the rest of the population I actually like the four bonus games they added in for the remake. (Though the True Arena can bite my shiny metal ass.)

Also, would it be too much to ask for someone to license Steam services for a console next generation? They support offline play, have the community stuff included, and it's free.

Glad to see the regular crew is back together.  I guess it's because of the long time since, but the chemistry was a bit off; in particular, Andy kept getting cut off mid-sentence, and it sometimes seemed like the topic moved on while someone still had something to say.  Still, it was enjoyable as always.

I believe someone (Andy?) mentioned he had never played a Harvest Moon game before, but was curious about the series.  May I recommend either downloading Harvest Moon 64 (probably the best in the series) or, for a more action-RPG twist on the series, Rune Factory 2 or Rune Factory Frontier?  They're all great games, so if you try one and don't like it, the series is probably not for you.

Andy kept getting cut-off mid-sentence because Neal was on. LOL

I did my share of cutting people off, too. I'm like a ninja that way.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

I say you guys have a contest next time:  whoever cuts off the most folks is gifted a VC ninja game of their choice!

By the way, I forgot to congratulate Neal on his continental domination of Photo Dojo.  Congrats!

So I'd gift a game every week? I don't like this game.

I always get antsy about keeping things brief, so that's why I usually cut people off.

Neal,

I went to Cozumel last fall.  It's awesome.  If you have time, I'd recommend heading over to the Xcaret! park for a day.  My wife and I loved it; it's worth going to for the underground river alone.  I believe it's near Playa del Carmen; you can reach it by boat from Cozumel.
