Happy to see MKM: Sub-Zero in there. It paved the way for Shaolin Monks, in a way.

I'm not seeing the N64 Keyboard/SharkWire combo...
I've heard of that, and have almost bought it before when I saw one on eBay. It's pretty low on my list though, especially because it isn't an official accessory. It would be useless too because the service isn't still operating.

Yup - there is no SharkWire service, sadly.  I do have an extra unit, with the box and all though.  Pay me shipping (which might be a bit, it's pretty hefty) and it's your's. :)
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

I have the Donkey Kong controller slip on. Never used it either as I don't have sweaty palms and never had to worry about the controller slipping out of my hands.

I also have a Goldeneye POP that was taped to the outside of the glass case. Just a nice little artifact to have.

Would that be after UB has passed and donated his collection?

I once considered having a complete SNES game collection but there are over 700 games on that system.  I figured probably well over half of them would be junk and I wasn't that interested in spending money on Mecarobot Golf.  The N64 is a much better choice for a complete collection just because of the smaller library.  And naturally collecting cartridge games is always the way to go.  They're just more fun to me.

Although it's not something I can see myself spending money on it's a damn cool collection there, Mop!  It must be exciting to have finally achieved this.  Though now that this hobby is finished now what are you going to do next?

Although... I don't find Superman 64 to be the worst N64 game. That honour would go to Carmageddon

Hahaha. Oh wow. Carmageddon is awesome.

impressed!!, if someone donated a picachu n64 would you then take it?
Yeah, and then I would burn it.

I do have an extra unit, with the box and all though.  Pay me shipping (which might be a bit, it's pretty hefty) and it's your's. :)
So that's what you were getting at, you were just trying to pawn it off on me.
Well, thanks for the offer but I'm not interested.

I wasn't that interested in spending money on Mecarobot Golf.
Ha ha, that game actually looks interesting...

The N64 is a much better choice for a complete collection just because of the smaller library.
Every game on the Nintendo 64 is pure awesomity. The best of its genre, the best innovation, the best of its time, the best example of awesomity, the best example of abysmality, the best of something.

Hahaha. Oh wow. Carmageddon is awesome.
You might be talking about the PC version. The N64 version is different and is terrible.

so about $6500?
Not even close.

I guess $12,500
You overshot it even farther.

Not even close. A better average is $10... but that could be high too. Most of the sports titles were $1.

That sounds about right. I didn't keep track so I couldn't tell you for sure.

I've thought about listing the collection on eBay with a ridiculously high reserve price just to see what people would bid. It seems kind of cruel though for the people who would think it is an achievable auction...

You might also be breaking some obscure eBay rules also. Plus what if there is the slight chance some crazy person with a large amount of cash meets your bid? What if we all chipped in to meet the bid and force you to cough up you collection?  :D

How would eBay be able to tell what I'm up to? They'd still get paid anyway regardless of if the item sells so they wouldn't care.

If somebody were willing to pay $50,000 for my collection then I'd have one word to say: SOLD!

I am ridiculously jealous of your collection, Mop_it_up!

Nice work on collecting everything. You should mod one of your systems and get going on relevant Japanese games. I only have Sin & Punishment and Custom Robo 64, but both are REALLY awesome games, so I throw those out as viable candidates.

Congrats, Mop.  That's quite an accomplishment.  I used to be a mild collector, but nowadays I'm just in it for the games.  I play them, and in most cases pass them along for someone else.  It's really the only way I'm able to afford to play new releases, because I just can't shell out $50-$100 a month for video games anymore.

I was really hoping NoA would bring over Custom Robo on the VC since it came out in Japan.

Perm started a trend: everyone post your N64 game collection. Maybe with our powers combined, we could hope to match the number of games Mop it up owns.

Thanks. I have actually already modified one of them because I have the JPN version of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter which I found in a game store for $2 (before anyone asks, it is the same as the NA version). It's also possible to use a GameShark to play JPN games.
I've looked into imports before but there really isn't anything I'd want. Sin and Punishment isn't my type of game, mostly because I hear it is difficult. Custom Robo is one of the few Nintendo series I have never tried before but there is one on the GameCube which was released in North America.
Tetris 64 is one I've considered getting especially because it'd be cool to have the eccentric Bio Sensor accessory, but it ain't cheap.

theperm's punier then mop it up's n64 collection
It may not be great in number but that doesn't mean it isn't a great collection. You have a lot of the must-have games:
Super Mario 64
Goldeneye
the Banjo games
the Zelda games
etc.

And you have a good amount of the second-tier titles:
Diddy Kong Racing
Paper Mario
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire
Mario Tennis and Golf
etc.

And you even have some lessor-known and under-appreciated titles like:
Mission: Impossible
the Mystical Ninja games
Space Station Silicon Valley
Aidyn Chronicles
Beetle Adventure Racing
etc.

Really the only questionable games there are WWF Attitude, NBA Courtside, and maybe South Park.

Just a piece of advice though: Take those price stickers off! Those things drive me crazy!

you know i hadn't realized they were still on until after i took the picture, i wanted wwf attitude since before it came out..it was probablyu the greatest disappointment. The character editor is still fun to use though, but no height adjustment WTF, courtside i got cus it was a dollar and hang time disappeared between game crazy visits, southpark is based off of the turok engine and was pretty fun.

It's a decent game but it isn't as polished as the Turok games. I can understand how some people say it is a bad game though I don't think it is bad myself.

Did you buy every version of Madden too?
All five. They totaled $5. Of course they require around a whole memory card to save the game so that really adds to the cost to anybody who wants to play them. Doesn't apply to me.

Wow, thats a great deal.  I'm so envious you have Excitebike 64!!  Still as awesome as we all remember?  I want another!!  The closest thing I've seen is MX Superfly for the Cube.
