The Master Ball is really better for the legendaries that run. Snorlax is annoying, but it won't run away (and Rest only has 10 PP, so eventually it will run out of that move).

Well I used my Masterball on Lugia earlier. I was kinda in a rush and I used it.

Anyway I am at the Elite 4 and most of my team is at level 40 or near it. My Roselia is 35 because I swapped it out for my HM user.

40 and under? That will be tough to win (ESPECIALLY Lance), but it's possible if you have the right team and you have plenty of healing items.

Dude, level your team up. I'd recommend Lv. 45. You'll need a strong Electric-type, a strong Fighting-type, a good Psychic, and a Dragon or Ice-type. Try to have either a Dark type OR a Pokemon that is resistant to Psychic attacks that knows a good Dark move.

I can totally post a list of the Elite Four and their Pokemon here, if anyone wants it.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

Guys I am probably going to raise my pokemon. Most likely 55 for everybody. I tend to use water types with Ice type moves to deal with Dragons. Gonna use this team that I have for the whole game.

At least one of his Dragonites knows Thunder.

And he is annoyingly accurate with it considering that Thunder has a 70% accuracy rate. His Dragonites will also abuse the hell out of Hyper Beam.

My Wishcash is a water/ground type. Hyperbeam is a special attack now so I just need a pokemon with high special defence.

TJ, you've never noticed that enemies are ALWAYS luckier with their attacks than you are? Poison Sting is effective like 10% of the time. EXCEPT when it's used by a rival trainer. Then it's like 60% effective. Crap like that--the Pokemon equivalent of the Blue Shell--really annoys me.

At least when it really counts in a real life battle its equal.

All the randomness in Pokemon is messed up.  I don't know how they are seeding their number or whatever, but it kills me.

I've had fire blast miss for all 5 of its PP once.  Given it's an 85% move, that means I triggered a 15% event 5 times in a row?  That's insanity but I witnessed it.

Of course, there is that hidden evasiveness stat that I don't fully understand, so I guess that could be the culprit.  The pokemon I was fighting wasn't using double team or anything though.

I believe the "hidden evasiveness stat" you're talking about is just something like a 1/256 chance of an attack missing.  All but the never-miss attacks have that 1/256 chance of missing, in addition to their normal hit-rate.

Well starting April 1st  and going till May 5th there will be a new Pokewalker course called Yellow Forest. What is so special about this course?
Well it is a course with 2 special Pikachu. One that has fly and one that has surf. There are other Pikachu so getting these 2 pikachu will lessen the odds of finding one.

As for the current topic of discussion do you think that different pokemon have different evasion rates? Like a Snorlax would have a low evasion rate and a Jumpluff would have a high evasion rate?

Do I have to go to GameStop, or is this just a date-specific thing already programmed into the Pokewalker?

Neither, I think it will be a mystery gift over the internet.

As Pale said it is a mystery gift. Select Mystery Gift then Nintendo Wi-Fi connection from the title screen.
Oh before I forget to get the Surf and Fly Pikachu to show up in your pokewalker you need a certain amount of steps on the pokewalker to make them appear.

It's a permanent unlock right? Like, if you trigger the mystery gift you will have that course for the life of your game save right?

They changed the way accuracy works as of GSC so that doesn't happen. A 100% accurate move is 100% accurate unless BrightPowder, Double Team or the Battle Frontier is in play.
