So I finally break down and decide to do this and the site's down for maintenance.

hahaha, its kinds fun, i didnt know you didnt have any control of the fight at first, i was tapping buttons like a 3 year old at an arcade.

The site goes down every night around 10pm Eastern Time. It sucks.

It also sucks you are limited to 3 fights a day, but I understand why. The number one fighter is level 80, the next one is 50-somthing I believe. Its gotta take forever to get that high.

Who did you make it under?
And did you try to join the clan?

if you did, what is your Brute name so I can accept you into the clan?

I forgot about the making it under somebody part, I just made one, and I just applied for the clan, my brute is Lordy C.

I've had 3 fights so far and none of them were close, I didn't get below half HP in any of them.

EDIT-- Figures as soon as I say that I lose three in a row.

Problem is, by level 9 dogs aren't really that great. They don't do much damage and generally die after a single hit. They're good for absorbing one blow that would have otherwise been directed at your character, but that's it. What you really need is a wolf ... OR A BEAR!

I'm just thankful that I got something I've wanted, even if it is 6 levels later

& in other news, Ball D has pushed Mr. Buckethat down one ranking making his journey to the font page of the clan that much harder.

Man the limit on how many fights you can do a day sucks, especially since the site being down forced me to wait until after midnight or else I'd have a few more.

It's not that bad. It's there to prevent people from pouring hours at a time (or simply writing scripts) to beef up their characters in a day or two.

Just make the battles part of your daily routine. I log in every day during my lunch break.

I didn't notice it till you mentioned it, but it was only 5HP that i lost.
I think thats is acceptable for a small companion.

Now it makes sense why people with pets usually have much lower HP than everybody else. You have to share them with your pets.

I check out possible combatants before I fight them in a seperate tab window. I don't fight foes with the double mace or big animals. Its not a sure thing, but its been going good for my Maiximus Meridias character. He has a good chance to overtake my first character.

I thought about doing that, but decided it would ultimately take way more effort than I was willing to put in.

I've taken to only fighting against the three characters ranked higher than me in the NWR clan every day. =P

I lost 12 when I got my dog. I though 72 was low for HP, but 60 kinda sucks, and I feel like I've lost a lot of matches on the fact that my HP is lower. It went up today when I leveled up, though.
