I would hope swords and spears aren't illegal because my martial arts master and half of the other students would be in a lot of trouble. I prefer to have weapons I can use instead of decorative ones though there are a few I've been tempted to get. The replica Master Sword is pretty neat, though I always thought Link's Gilded Sword from Majora's Mask looked better than the Master Sword.

That's funny that EA went and did that with the brass knuckles. Butterfly knives and switch blades are also illegal in a number of states. My roommate collects knives so we keep tabs on what is allowed in what state since we live in Portland, Oregon but he visits folks in the Sacramento, California area and I visit a lot of family in the Seattle, Washington area so between us we need to be familiar with three different state's weapon laws.

This one:

I was really sad they didn't include it in Soul Calibur 2 and they added some ridiculously generic swords instead.

Fierce Deity Link is the best Link. But that helix sword is unwieldy. It's almost as bad as Clouds pathetic attempt at compensation. The gilded sword or even the master sword are more practical weapons.

It's actually quite light because it lacks a middle, but it's still very strong due to the balance of the curves in the blade. /bullshit

QFT

I just watched the new Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. While it was a decent action flick and Daniel Craig does fair job, I like Dalton better.

fact: There are actually three Godfather films.  "Either" implies two.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Is GF2 a good buy for someone who doesn't own the first one or is it a better idea to get the first as it's vastly cheaper now?

fact: There are actually three Godfather films.  "Either" implies two.

No, there was no third Godfather movie. Just as Star Wars never had any prequels and Dune only has three books.

Hmmm that is so tough to answer because it is so hard to determine cost vs benefit for people. I'd personally say get the sequel, it does everything the first does, has some new stuff and fixes what didn't work in the first game.
