Not really, they're collecting data from many households and combining them.

So what? I'm the only one who plays Wii games in my household. That means every time I rate a game I'll be suggesting that it's best suited for a 21 year old male, regardless of what age/gender the game is really best suited for. That makes my vote fairly meaningless. In that regard, the quality of each household's vote is proportional to the variety of players in that household.

But your vote is only one. That way they know whether 21 year old male hardcore gamers enjoy the game. Other people provide data for other games.

You know what I hate is how they check your save data and log your games you play, this is grossly inaccurate because my stupid parents are always bringing people over to play Wii Sports, but I HATE that game and do not want them thinking that is the most played game on my system.

but that is not logged in the "Total Play Time" it only says Wii Sports "..:.." it never says "Mom Played Wii Sports for ..:.." does it?

I guess that is more a general complaint than this channel specifically though. I just never thought of it till getting the channel.

New videos up this morning. There is a video of how the Balance board works and a new wiifit commercial. Videos for new WW releases Protothea and Toki Tori. Super Swing Golf: Season 2 and Snk Arcade Classics:Volume 1. For Ds videos we have Neves, Bang-o Spirits and River King Mystical Valley.Ds demos are Pirates of the Caribbean: At worlds end, Worms:open warfare 2, High School Musical: Making the cut, The Mummy:Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Cake Mania 2. All of these have distribution ending on the 6/8 except High School Musical which is 6/9

Ok the Ds demos are the same as last week except that Cake Mania 2 was replaced with Arkanoid DS all of these demos are available till 6/15. There isn't really any new videos besides My pokemon Ranch. All the rest we have seen in previous weeks.

The new stuff I saw so far was that the trailers for the Wiiware games are now listed in the video list (they were available previously but only on the info page of the game)

Ok another Monday has come so that means the Nintendo Channel in America has been updated. The Videos are a Developers Voice-Guitar Hero:On tour. For Wiiware Block Breaker Deluxe and Cocoto Fishing Master. Finally for Wii Guitar Hero: Aerosmith and Samba De Amigo. On to the Demos, Crosswords DS-word search, Arkanoid DS,RRR 2, and CakeMania 2.All of the demos are up till 6/22.

More importantly, they've finally added the stats from player recommendations.

The average hours played for Wii Sports is 30 something hours. Shallow tech demo, indeed.

Ok here are the DS demos Crosswords DS-Anagram Demo, Wall·E,The Incredible Hulk,Kung Fu Panda, Contra 4 and Cake Mania 2.The new videos are Get Wiifit with Alyson,Gyrostarr,Guitar Hero Orpheum Video,Rockband TV spot,NCAA Football 09 All play info video. For the DS we have Tamagotchi Connection:Corner shop 3 and My Fashion Studio TV spot. The Nintendo Channel is getting crowded with Nintendo videos there isn't that much left for other videos.

First the DS demos are Trauma Center:Under the Knife 2, Incredible Hulk, Carnival Games and Kung-fu panda. For Wii videos we have We love golf!, Lego Indiana Jones and Little league world series 2008. For DS we have FF 4 and Soul Bubbles. There is a Developers Voice for FFCC:MLAK.There is a new info video for FFCC:MLAK as well. Wiiware video is Spogs racing. And a new Get Wiifit with Alyson:Strength training.
Edit:The DS demos will be available till 7/13.
