norebonomis, this happened to us too.  All we did was go back to the general spot where the golden bomber was.  You can hear the music as you approach the correct spot.  At night, there will also be a light that will of course disappear as you approach.  This worked for us.

Megabreath2,

How could you be this far along in the game and not know the answer to that question. OK, there are 4 empty bottles you can aquire during the game, you need them to hold the potions to restore health and magic. They can also hold other things. Where do you get the potion you ask? Good question. I can think of 3 places off hand, 1) there is a cave behind the Deku tree where a leaf dude can make some. 2) On windfall Island there is a guy who makes potions, you have to give him the little green and blue blobs you get from killing the little jelly creatures. 3) Your aunt on Outset Island makes the most awsome potion, it restores health and magic and you can fit two doses in one bottle. You have to heal her with a small fairy that you bring to her in one of the bottles.

I'm new here so first off: Hiya!

I picked up a Platinum Gamecube with The Wind Waker and the Ocarina Of Time bonus disc about a month ago, and played trough the game without any help so far (I've just beaten the Monstrous Helmaroc King). But I was wondering: Do you get anything, or does anything happen, if you put a Town Flower in every Joy Foundation thingey on Windfall Island?
And, when the girl was messing with the salesman's safe, I busted her by walking to her. We talked a bit, and she gave me the empty bottle. But, if I would just make a picture of her messing with the safe and run away, it seems like the Eskimo guy (Lunarzo or something) is talking about someone's been messing with his safe, and how he'd like to get some proof of it. I talked to the girl and got the Empty Bottle, but my question is, do you get anything if you show Lunarzi the picture?

P.S. The Nintendo Gallery is FUN!

When you put flowers in all the outdoor pots on Windfall, go to the guy sitting on a bench. He'll give you a heart piece. I don't know what happens when you put flowers on all the pots EVERYWHERE (indoors and in Link's Oasis).
I don't think you get anything from eskimo man. Him saying that someone's messin with his safe hints for you to wait for someone. Blonde girl gives you the bottle, then swear never to do anything like that again, so yeah. That's it. NOthing more. I think.

How do you get more flowers?  I only seem capable of getting one, the exotic flower I ended up with after getting the magic armor.  I want to do this sidequest, so does anyone know where or how to get more flowers?

Also, has anyone else tried the Nintendo Gallery sidequest?  Thus far I've filled the Windfall room, all but two in the Dragon Roost room, and several in all the other rooms.  Can you finish this if you've already beaten the game, and can you get the things you've missed some other way?  Or am I screwed?

I think you have to play the game a few times to get all the statues.  Also where do I get those town flowers?

Actually, so far so good, but the pirates and the bosses may screw me over yet.

I figured out the flower part.  I just stopped trading when I got the magic armor, but now I've traded all the way and I've got the whole city decorated and a fountain and blue plant at my cabana.

Jarob,

Talk to the Eskimo guy you bought the sail from, he will ask you to work for him. Say yes and he will give you the first flower, you must find the Goron traders and trade with them. After you receive 3 different flowers go back to Eskimo and he will give you something, I wont tell you what, but after all that you can buy flowers from him and decorate to your hearts content.

After that you can trade with the traders lots more, and get flags, statues, and a spinwheel.  It makes his booth a lot bigger, too.  It's annoying that you have to pay for all the stuff, though, even though you got it all for him.

Do you have the camera that can take color pictures? He wont take a black and white picture. If you dont have the color camera go talk to the guy that gave you the camera and he will ask you to take some pictures of specific things (3 I think). Anyways after that you get the color camera.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Not sure if I'm posting in this thread correctly, so apologies in advance, but I have a Wind Waker question:

I've just reached the castle under the sea that is frozen in time (at least I think that's the idea) to get the Tri-Force. There's a statue of Link in the main room of the castle, and I think the Tri-Force is under the floor. I just don't know how to get at it, and I'm impatient to keep moving -- this seems like an important point in the game! Now that I'm inside this castle, what's my next step?

TIA,
Mike

y2kerr,

In the center of the main room are three pieces of triforce that you must rotate to make them fall into the floor, after you complete  the puzzle the statue will open up.

I have one statue left and it's driving me insane.  I think it's supposed to be some form of Darknut (dog men things in armor) I should get, but I've tried almost all of them and can't figure it out.  I don't expect anyone to know, though, I just felt like whining

You can get statues from 2 kinds of darknuts.  One is the basic darknut(like the very first you meet) and the other is the purple one(which you first meet after discovering Zelda is gone)

I've figured it out, sort of.  One darknut is the basic white ones, though red ones and such shall suffice.  The others are (I think) either gold or black.  You take a picture of either and get a gold one.  I have both of those.  There's another one, though: Might darknuts (they have capes, so that makes them mighty).  There are only a few, in Ganon's Tower, so I have to get all of the Triforce bits and go to Hyrule again.  Poop.  Ah well.

I'm playing through WW my second time, and this time I am trying to complete everything, anyways one of the Fish-Men says this clue:

"I hear that somewhere out in the wide world is an arrow that can freeze anything. With an arrow like that you could even freeze that nasty monster in the Forsaken Fortress... for a while, anyway. But then, what would you do with a frozen monster, you say? Good question, fry. Why, I'd say you give that thing a whack and watch it shatter into teeny-tiny pieces!"

Is he just talking about the bird monster (can you freeze and shatter him), or is there someone else that you can only destroy with the ice arrow?

You can't do it against a boss, but you can use the ice arrows to freeze any enemy.  The only enemy that comes to mind that you NEED ice arrows are the blue bubbles, which you'll see pretty soon.

You don't NEED the ice arrows for blue bubbles; a deku leaf blast or the hookshot will do.  But if you're using arrows, yes, only ice arrows will do.

I have finished the Nintendo Gallery.  It was quite a doozy, but I'm glad I did it.  Now I'm just chillin at the Nintendo Gallery HQ. . . so any questions about that bit and I can easily answer them.

I know you can freeze pretty much anything with the Ice Arrows, I was just wondering if there was a specific monster the fish was talking about since he said to use it on the monster in the foresaken fortress.

I want to complete the Nintendo Gallery myself, but its gonna take forever. Is there any way to get to take more than three pictures at a time? I think I have like 10 statues made so far. Many many more to go.

The fish could just be making a generalization, and the monster could be Ganondorf.  He's just making a point about how strong those arrows are, possibly.

Many many many more.  But I had fun doing it.  And no, three is the maximum.  And you'll probably have to start up a new game to finish it up (you start out with the Picto Box deluxe and all that you've done of the Nintendo Gallery in a new game).  But I liked it.
