The Halberd is making me want to play Kirby: Super Star again, even though I've played it so many times.

Easily still the best Kirby game ever made.

I broke off the tabs at the bottom of the Super NES's cartridge slot to play the Japanese version, and then I rented the North American version twice, and then I bought it...and I'll buy it again on the VC.

The Megaton Punch music should be in one of the Kirby stages, too.  Maybe not this one, though.

But Lords make the most sense, so there's Eirika (Sacred Stones) and Micaiah (Lord for the first bit of Radiant Dawn)...Not much to choose from! =(

Celica says hi. Besides, the most popular Fire Emblem female was never a lord to begin with. I don't know about Micaiah's popularity since she's still new, but I know nobody likes Lyn, Celica, or Eirika.

I'm sure Ceric means because we're not physically fighting on the ship ala Fox McCloud's Great Fox stage from the previous two Smash games.  I, too, agree, Ceric.

Considering we will probably fighting on the Great Fox again in Brawl, I'm glad they did something unique here...

"I don't know about Micaiah's popularity since she's still new, but I know nobody likes Lyn, Celica, or Eirika."

I don't know about Japan, but Lyn is HUGELY popular in the U.S., even among non-Fire Emblem fans...

I know what you mean with the lost potential, i was thinking the same thing. I mean, this stage could have taken us from the cannon to the Heavy Lobster to Dyna Blade or under the ship where theres wind blowing you back as the level scrolls forward etc

Well...maybe not all those things at once but you get the picture

Or maybe I'm just being too critical because Kirby Superstar is my #1 Favorite game of all time

Well, it looks like we get to fight on the ship at some point in the cycle of the level... at least a little bit, while the cannon fires at us.  I like how much this level reminds me of a Powerstone 2 level.  I love Powerstone 2.  The Fire Emblem level gives me the same vibe.

Maybe the platforms will disappear a la the F-Zero stage in Melee and then the cannon fires.  Then who knows where it'll go after that.

The Battleship stage reminds me of Power Stones 2 as well. I bet Brawl will play something like that, which is good because I loved that game! This stage will probably be banned in tournaments.

Look At that Beautiful Deck that we won't be fighting the length of...

I don't know if Kirby goes in the ship in the game but that would be cool as well.  Another short stage that could have been longer...

The cannons and robot arms would lose their efficacy if they were taken out of the 3D plane they've been given...Plus, as I mentioned, look for the Great Fox if you want to fight along the length of a ship...

Maybe we should start a petition and send it to Sakurai stating that we want more diverse stages that ARE NOT platforms?

After all, Smash is a fan-service game.  What happened to stages like on the first Smash?  I want my terrain stages!

I agree that this stage would have been great to fight on, lenghtwise.

And in today's update, neat, but why must Bowser be getting owned in every movie or screenshot of this game that he's in?

Unfortunately, Bill... it looks like there's not going to be a "Loli Brawl" mode after all...
