Yeah for Petey Pirahna not being a playable character but a boss.

You can save either Zelda or Peach, depending on which cage you damage more and subsequently break.

But, but... what if I want to save both Peach and Zelda? Don't make me choose! ;_;

But this Petey is awesome?! It's not fair.  The one game where Petey fits in well, as an evil, semi-brainless powerhouse, he's a boss, and unplayable!

He's huge, too, for the record.

I figure at least some of these non-playable bosses are going to tick some off... (I'm now thinking Ridley might get a similar style of role)

I really think the final boss will turn out to be Tingle who has been manipulating everything since the start.

Peach. Always Peach.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

This is probably how characters are unlocked. At least some of them. Free Zelda... play as Zelda.

Yay for bosses! *Hopes for boss rush mode............ and for co-op Boss rush mode*

Zelda always Zelda... Why because Peach has already contracted Stockholm Syndrome from being with Bowser for so long

I said before that Petey was too big to be playable.

It is still wide open for the Ancient Minister to be playable.  He is the right size and looks pretty unique.  Will he be another boss like Petey or playable as well?

It'd be kind of cool if the bosses were playable in a special multiplayer Boss Mode where it's 3 vs 1 or 2 vs. 1, where you can make assign the CPU to be the boss character as well and team up. I'm still holding out on a single/co-op Boss Rush mode.

Yeah, i'm also specifically holding out for things that i'm certain will never be included in the final game. It's a free future troll that seems all legit and gives me that fuzzy feeling!

I'd save Zelda because shes hotter, and i'm sick of Link breaking her heart. Plus Peach already has Mario and Bowser. Bit of a shame that Petey isn't playable, he could be quite unique, that's the first Strikers player who's been confirmed not playable, not looking good for Daisy or Waluigi.

"not looking good for Daisy or Waluigi."

Best news ever...

"(I'm now thinking Ridley might get a similar style of role)"

Same, which is pretty sad, because I guess this is the direction they are going with villain inclusion...Oh well, more room for heroes! =D

And I love how there are choices you can make that change your path RIGHT off the bat...That's just bloody awesome...

Boss battles confirmed awesome...so I wonder who will all the boss battles be?  Obviously they will span across all the gaming franchises Nintendo owns...and should be pretty awesome.

Though, I love the dilemma placed with this boss.  Who do you set free?

The obvious choice would be Zelda, so you can play as her...but I think Peach is my girl I free.

As for Bosses being played in the game.  I think a 3 vs. 1 multiplayer Boss battle with a human playing as the boss would be cool.  So would a 4 vs. 1 CPU controlled boss battle.

In fact I am looking forward to the mode where you just run through bosses.

I really think if it is damage based then you should be able to manage to save them both.  I mean thats what Batman would do.

At least I'm not the only one. *high five*

I think Boss Rush has a legitimate chance of making it. I can see people wanting to fight the bosses again without wanting to play through the whole Adventure Mode again. I mean, you figure that these are pretty special fights. It'd be a shame not to include this in a game that's filled with options.

But what if *I* am playing as Zelda? Will I save myself, or will another character be substituted?

Geez.  You people.

Just like at CAG.  All of this nonsense about saving one or the other.

Losers.

Imma save both of them at once, as I am pimp like that.  The rest of you scrubs clearly are not.
