Go Galaxy! It can still make 10 million worldwide..

And also, that 2.5 million for DS has got to be some sort of record..

I know Chozo said it, but I think to point it out visually has more impact.

That is just down right embarrassing for the PS3.
But I Believe that The Playstation Brand has come out on top beating the the DS' 2.47 mill with its own collective 2.96 mill.

It's only a matter of time now before Nintendo because the leader in every single market.  They've already won Japan and Europe and at the rate the Wii is selling, I'd say they should surpass the 360 in North America by mid Summer.

I thought the Wii would have been #1 in the US by now, for total LTD sales, but Microsoft has been doing very well for the past several months. PS3 is an absolute joke, at best. I like how they always say that it's on par with the 360's first year sales, not in the US it isn't, maybe it's sold half as many in the first year, again at best.

Well considering 360 has a 1 year head start on Wii and was relatively successful, it isn't that surprisingly Wii hasn't caught up in NA, then again I think worldwide sales are the best indicator.

I didn't see it mentioned here but it was mentioned by Matt over at IGN

December 2007
Wii HW 1.35 million
Wii SW 13.5 million

Wii = 10:1 SW:HW for December and actually outsold the 360 in software for the month.

Wow, Wii Play outsold Halo 3 for the year in Canada.  That is quite a feat.  I thought all of NA were Halo whores.  Guess I was mistaken.

Of course, in the US, I wouldn't be suprised if Wii Play eventually takes the lead in lifetimes sales again on Halo 3 just on the fact that more Wiis are sold each month.

The Nintendo dominance rolls on, and Galaxy gets back into the top 10. A good week.

So does this mean that Wii Fit sells out the moment it hits stores?  Seems like it with it now being number 1 twice in a row after not being number 1 for its first 4 or 5 weeks.

Salesbot, could you re-do your third party ratios.  It's a little misleading.

Instead of saying, X of Y or Z% of games Published for a Sony/MS/Nintendo/KitchenAid system were third party...

Say X of 30 or Z% of games ON THE CHART are MS/Sony/Nintendo third party games.

It'll take more math, but that gives a much clearer picture.
It's time you saw the future while you still have human eyes.

... and those eyes see a 3DS system code : 2750-1598-3807

During the nine-month period ended December 31, 2007, "Nintendo DS", our handheld gaming system, continued to enjoy robust sales worldwide, selling a total of 24.5 million units (64.79 million units life-to-date). DS software had favorable performance in sales as well, led by new titles of "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" and "Mario Party DS" as well as "Pok?mon Diamond" and "Pok?mon Pearl" and "Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day" which were launched overseas during this period. In addition, a number of long-term selling titles such as "Nintendogs" and "New Super Mario Bros." recorded strong sales.

In our console business, "Wii" hardware reached total sales of 14.29 million units worldwide for the first three quarters of the year and exceeded 20 million units in life-to-date sales, which is slightly over one year. "Wii Sports" and "Wii Play" continued their strong sales performance as well.
