Yeah, and according to IGN, it sold through almost 150,000 units - which is damn good for a game that made it's debut on the GC a couple of years back.

Wow, still? That game is a monster!

Other than that, what can you say? With the Wii and DS doing so well worldwide, and with Phantom Hourglass and New Super Mario Bros almost certainly going to become the best selling non-pack-in Zelda and Mario games ever in Japan, it really is a new golden age for Nintendo.

The best part about Nintendo dominating are the other console fanboys.

It's hilarious to see people in denial. "Zomg the Wii sucks. It's graphics are bad! It's such a fad! Man it's going to die by next year!" Uhhh . . .  yeahhhh haha.

Let us usher in the new Golden Age! ::throws confetti into the air::

But wait you guys Nintendo doesn't care about us gamers anymore it only makes games for casual non-gamers and Mario Kart Wii doesn't count cos they made a steering wheel for anybody to play it.  Games are all about meeeeeeeeeeeee!
That's my opinion, not yours.

Update - these NPD numbers are only US numbers, when you add in Canada, Wii sold 435,000 last month, and DS sold 608,000. This is taken from Nintendo's "10 fun facts", so there's no numbers for Sony or MS.

Apparently almost 2x the retail orders for Mario Party 8 have been put in than for Minna No Golf 5.
Mario Party 8 & MNG5 just came out today in Japan.

MNG5 is PS3 last BIG game till MGS4.

Well there is Heavenly Sword and Lair, but how BIG will those be to the Japanese audience?
I'm sure that Gundam and 3 other games would have appealed to the Japanese alot better than either of those unproven heavily westernized games.

You sound like you have specific titles in mind but I can't figure out which ones.

Also, they aren't westernized, they are made in the west.
