First thing as for the 2000 rupees for the shop in Castle Town. Talk to the Elder Goron in front of the store do the quest, the easiest way to beat the quest is to walk along the edge of the cliff to the bridge all you will have to aviod is fire arrows.

And now for Link's revenge.

Some people didn't like that the Redeads had swords but there is a litte revenge in store for Link this time. In wolf form he latches onto the back of the Redead and you can probally figure out what it looks like...

Stupidity is lost on my. Then again I'm almost always lost.

Bill: The freaking ending opens many other questions, like, why did Zant appear and "magically" snapped Ganon's neck? And then suddenly his Triforce of Power disapeared as if it was taken from him? Or did Ganon transfer his soul into Zant and made everyone believe he is dead, which would further explain Ganon reapearing and taking over Hyrule in the past of WW? Why is Midna hotter than Zelda, WHY? What happened to those 4 people that always were in the tavern and then went to help you in the castle, but then the castle exploded? Does that mean everyone that was in the castle died? There, I think that's all I wanted to vent, when I finish it again I will have more to vent.

In Hyrule castle, there's a big room north of the first floor that I can't acces. there's 3 chests in there, and one of them is probably a small key for a door leading to 3 more chests (just beside the boss room). There's a triforce sign facing the wall i'm trying to get accros, and when I step on it and talk to Midna, she says that there must be a way around the wall, and that it would be interesting to get on the other side.

Okay, I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about.  Go to the room you had to use the Boomerang on the pillars to get the gate to open.  Transform into a wolf and use your senses.  At one place there is a hole you can dig into.  You will wind up on the other side of that wall.  Use your senses in there at some point too, pretty cool stuff when you do.

1)  I assume that everyone that went into the castle escaped...
2)  Midna is cuter cause she's Midna!
3)  I took the Zant thing as a more symbolic gesture of Ganondorf's death, but perhaps that'll be saved for another game (Ganondorf doesn't really play off to me as the kind of guy that pretends to be dead)...The Triforce of Power didn't disappear, its power had just been suppressed by the Master Sword...

Oh yeah?  Well I accomplished absolutely nothing after playing for an extra 1.5 hours last night.  Okay, I got two pieces of heart and talked to every single person in castle town.  Also I found some bugs.  I think maybe I'll mosey on over to that third temple next time I play.
That's my opinion, not yours.

This is the story about how I feel stupid and my brother demonstrates his occasional ability to "know" something without actually knowing.

I'm playing Zelda, looking for some Pieces of Heart.  I'm poking around the Sacred Grove.  My brother passes by the room.

Me: "Hey, gimme a hand here.  I can't find this Heart Piece."
Him: "No, I haven't even seen the game."

My brother decided to return to school this semester to study business, and since the Wii came out he's been bombarded with homework and studying, so he can't find the time to play Zelda until his Christmas break.  So he has refused to even look at the screen when I'm playing Zelda.

Me: "I know, but you always seem to know how to figure out things even if you don't know anything about something."
Him: "No, I don't."
Me: "Come on, really.  There's nothing here but a big movable block.  Umm, there are ruins around here.  Not really much to say.  There's supposed to be a Heart Piece here, so the fortune teller says."
Him: "Use your wolf sense.  Don't you have wolf sense or something?"
Me: "No, that doesn't help.  I even looked at this busted Treasure Chest but there's clearly nothing in there."
Him: "Someone took it.  Go back in time.  Can't Link do that?"
Me: "He can and he can't.  He...um..."
Him: "Well?  Isn't he the Hero Of Time?"
Me: "Not necessarily...but...hmmm... (pause) If this works I'm going to punch you."

A few seconds later...

Me: How did you know?!? (punches him)
Him: OW!

I should have figured that out.  I'm sure the thought crossed my mind (I mean, duh, but for some reason I didn't do it.  For not having played the game, he was either extremely lucky, psychic, or telepathic (drawing out what I had thought before but never acted upon it).  He's done it before in other situations.  >_<  But in this one I feel particularly dumb for being told how to do something from someone who doesn't even know what's going on.  >_<

1) Yeah I guess so, and maybe if I paid more attention to the ending credits I would see them alive.

2) Absolutely, as Reggie would say.

3) To me, Zant was no more than a secondary character, and what is confusing me is if he was a secondary character why is he vital in that cutscene.

I am not completely satisfied with the ending, but I think I get that from every Zelda game.

Just finished TP, clocked in at just over 40 hours.  Still need 15 heart pieces and like 20 poes.  I gotta say, I'm dissasitisfied with the ending, it had like no closure for me, it just felt rushed, especially after all the time I put into beating it.  That said, I did thoroughly enjoy the game, and it did seem to have a lot of funny parts.  The thing that I really liked was just the sheer number of mini games, if felt like you were constantly doing something different.  Too, they definetely did a better job with making you care about emotions and what not.

I thought that zant was one of the funniest bosses I've ever fought.  I really like the way they did the obligatory summery battle

I really wanted to see Gannon die, maybe I a sadist, but I just wanted to see Gannon fall over dead, like for real, especially after you had to fight him three times

My favorite boss battle was definetly the one on the spinner, as soon as I saw the spinner and what you were supposed to do with it, I immeadiately thought skateboard, it's a shame they didn't come up with more areas to use it, because I really like them

At any rate good times were had by all, I did like how they followed up on all the groups like the ending in LttP  Now I gotta watch my Fiance beat it, she's not a gamer but this is the only game on the Wii that she's got any interest in, she's not keen on Wii Sports or Rayman.  It's kinda weird really.

You do realize this game takes place between Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, right?  Needless to say, "dying for good" isn't in Ganondorf's vocabulary...

Spoiler tags maybe?  I mean, Ianyone who's read interviews knows that person is in there, but still.  I somewhat agree.  I haven't even gotten far enough to encounter Ganon, but I like to see games that focus on different villains once in a while.  It makes Ganon episodes more interesting.

couchmonkey, did you know that if you split the Zelda games into thematic pairs, you'll see that Ganon(dorf) does a good job of keeping out of almost exactly half the games (one game in each pair).  The thing is that Ganon(dorf) shows up in the more popular games, leading people to believe that he's like Dr. Wily in the Mega Man games when he really isn't.

See, I'll prove it.

The Legend Of Zelda: Yes.
Zelda II: Adventure Of Link: No. (I don't consider the Game Over screen a real appearance.)

A Link To The Past: Yes.
Link's Awakening (DX): No. (Dethl/Nightmare's brief transformation as him doesn't count.)

Ocarina Of Time: Yes.
Majora's Mask: No.

Oracle Of Ages & Oracle Of Seasons: No/Yes.  Because of the way they are linked and played, any one person playing through them both will only encounter him at the end of the second game they play, so it should count as just one of the two games.

Minish Cap: No.
Four Swords: No. (This game was so short, many people don't consider this a true game, but if they did, it's another one that counts against Ganon's number of appearances.)
Four Swords Adventures: Yes.

Super Smash Bros.: No.
Super Smash Bros. Melee: Yes.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl: ? (Even if he is, this could be offset by Four Swords.)

Wind Waker: Yes.
Phantom Hourglass: ?

Twilight Princess: Yes.

Soul Calibur II: No.

CD-i games: Who cares!

Also, until Wind Waker, there was actually a new villain or at least a new form or identity of Ganon.

The Legend Of Zelda: Ganon.
Zelda II: Adventure Of Link: Thunderbird/Dark Link.
A Link To The Past: Agahnim.
Link's Awakening: Dethl (or so the Player's Guide says, but most people just call him the Nightmare)
Ocarina Of Time: GanonDORF.
Majora's Mask: Majora('s Wrath).
Oracle Of Ages: Veran.
Oracle Of Seasons: Onox.
Super Smash Bros. Melee: Giga Bowser.
Four Swords: Vaati.
Wind Waker: Ganondorf!  (Gasp, a game with no new villain (or new form of Ganondorf)!  And it took this long!)
Four Swords Adventures: Ganon & Vaati. (repeats)
Minish Cap: Vaati. (repeat)
Twilight Princess: Zant.
Soul Calibur II: Inferno.
CD-i games: Probably some weirdoes we don't care about.

So anyone who believes that Ganon must be in every single game is only half right.  Technically, if he can maintain his 50/50 split, you'd be just as correct to say that he isn't in any game.  o_0
