There's actually several characters you can use. I personally reccomend Yoshi, who I used. Basically, go over by Crazy Hand, do a short little jump, and use Yoshi's down+A attack, his butterfly kick (similar to the strategy a lot of people use in the Homerun Derby). Make it a goal to get rid of Crazy Hand first, because he ahs the more damaging attacks. Learn how to avoid both of their attacks, as well, including combined attacks.

You can also use Captain Falcon, or, I guess, Ganondorf. Do their smahs up+A attack (the double kick) to hurt either hand. A friend of mine also use Link/Young Link's air down+A attack (you can hit them around 3 times each go around). But really, the main thing is to learn how to avoid all of their attacks- since you only get one life, you erally can't screw up.

this may sound kind of stupid, but use jigglypuff.  If you hit someone with her down+b attack, it will send the enemy flyin with alot of damage.  You have to have the timing pretty much exact, though.  it works especially well against giga bowser.  It's obviously harder against the other two, since they are smaller targets.  but i guess two is easier than three, and then you just hope you get a few lucky items and try to avoid their attacks while gettin a few hits in here and there. Pokemon really help here.  Just try to float above their attacks while waitin for an opportunity.  At least, thats what i do.  This battle usually takes me around ten min.  but then again ive only done it three or four times.  Good Luck!!!

I used Gannondorf to beat the double hands, his Up+A Smash attack is amazing. And for the last event match i used Fox, that jiggypuff technique is for wusses!

You can't deny that it works though. it's pretty easy to do it woth Jig, but you can probably do it faster with your best character (unless your best character just happens to be Jig).

Use Jigglypuff or Kirby. What you do is jump off the side of the platform and float as far as you can. Giga Bowser and Ganondorf will fall off. Keep doing it until they're gone and then take on Mewtwo. At least that's what EGM said.

double hands - kirby.. its easy to stay on with.. use the shield for basic attacks from either hand.

giga bowser - kirby also... giga bowser will push ganondorf/mewtwo off or they will push giga bowser off.. so as long as you hold that edge you are good.  also you have to watch out for when they hit you, you don't want to lose a life before 1 whole player is gone.

Dear reader/xbox nemesis,
For killing the hands, a really good strategy is either Ganondorf, Jigglypuff (really hard), C. Falcon, Samus, and especially YOSHI. Ganondorfs and captain Falcons jump up and down A will work well. A really time consuming, and not really good strategy is Jigglypuffs Jump down B, But you'll have to take some damage while you're  sleeping. The second best strategy I feel is Samus  with her jump down B. Keep torturing the two hands by jumping and pressing down and B ( thats how my best friend did it like that). I also feel the that the very best strategy is the one I use. It's with Yoshi. If you keep jumping and doing down A on one of them (not down B, Down A and hold). For the trick to work, you have to do it right at the top of one of the hands, and you HAVE TO hold A, that way you can do upto 60 damage% at a time. I hope my info will come in useful. Thanks for reading And good luck.

P.S. If you are good with fox you might want to try using him by Jumping right into one of the songs and using up B, While it's loading it can do 10-25 damage, plus his speed can be a great defense.

That down B Jig attack doesn't  work for me.  It's never worked.  All the idiot does is go to sleep and absorb a nice smack in the face.  When exactly does the attack happen.  Just after he falls asleep.  WHen he wakes up. in the middle of his snooze?  I let him sleep all the way through and he stilll doesn't do anything.  How the hell does the attack work?????????????

You have to be touching your opponent at the exact same time you execute the attack.

I'd say the down B with Jiggly Puff works about 50% of the time.

hey i was pretty mean with jigglypuff on n64, would really annoy 'hardcore' smash bros players who thought they were king s**t at it to get 0wned by me with jigglypuff

it was that long since i beat the modes on smash bros (i never touch it anymore) i think i used yoshi with the masterhands and the cheep jigglypuff method with bowser. he looked freakin' evil he did!

On pgc's codes section, it says that you can do some weird spin move to make samus have a longer grappling hook, can anyone confirm this? also does anyone know how to catch items that have been thrown at you or reflect blasts back at an enemy by only using your shiedl?

I've always had trouble using Samus' longer reach, but it does indeed work.  To catch items in midair, use Z(I've had a lot of fun stealing items from underneath friends ^_^).  For the shield reflect, I think you have to press L or R just as. the item reaches you...

Most people use Yoshi. I believe that's who I used... but that was back in the day when I owned a Gamecube (now a ps2). You'll just have to do it over and over again untill you figure out the best pattern for success.
