The last time I watched pokemon (a movie i stopped watching the show after seeing 3 episodes hoping it would get better, but i still watched the movies for some reason, oh yeah cuz when i watch movies i...) slowking was one of the more powerful psychic pokemons, AND he could speak english. instead of just saying his name or some distorted form of it.

In short: I rule.

although i'm pretty sure Mew and Mewtwo would still kick my a$$ so I rule like 3rd or 4th.

When does the game start btw?

Although I was tempted to play as Yoshi (who I insist is the original Pokemon), I have decided it is in the best spirit of the game to play as Jigglypuff. Though I really should photoshop a headband.

So i'm thinking about closing signups down at midnight Eastern time Thursday night. Any idea where some people are? Like Wandering and anyone else we are missing? If they don't want to play, that's fine, but I don't want to close signups if they are gonna show up on friday.

According to his profile, wandering hasn't shown his face on PGC since Wed June 28, 2006 10:40 PM. Perhaps he's on vacation. Or lost his Internet. Or got a 360.

EDIT: I just noticed Mystic hasn't signed up either. Although he's been around. So maybe he just doesn't like us anymore.

Pale, I'm glad that this Mafia is happening now. I narrowly missed registering for the last one, and so I had to sit on the sidelines for the whole time. After it was over, I couldn't wait to find out when the next one would be. If I had to wait any longer... well...

Gotta agree with decoyman. I have a lot of fun with the mafias, and I cant wait for this one to start (Thats probably partially because I have a lot of time on my hands untill school starts again). I think the one month thing works well, its not so bad for the people who either cant get enough mafia, or were killed early in the last one. It also gives a little break to people like BnM who are starting to get mafia'd out. Besides, we are only one person away from the ideal number, hopefully once wandering shows up he'll join, and that might get ShyGuy to join.

Hey, I'm in. My constant calling out of Pale in the last game would be in vain if I didn't join his game. (Even if I know he won't give me a roll.)

And considering I've never played a Pokemon game before, I'll pick my least favorite from Melee. The one that sounds like he says "Falafel". You know, the one that is an upside down punching bag? The blue thing, with the little guy attatched? Yeah, I choose him.

Edit: His name is "Wobbuffet", but you all knew that already.
