Damn you beat me to it...just finished downloading it as well, with the patches it's nearly 17.5 GB so it's going take a while.  Took me nearly 2 hours but it's worth it imo.

But you fail to mention that you also recieve an promotional code ($5.00) for you next download from them (expires end of Jan 2012 though).

So really it ended up costing $12.24 for me.

I'm still contemplating the purchase.

I will likely never get around to actually playing the game if I buy it now.

BTW:  Best Buy had it's early-BF-safe going on now for plat-reward members and I just spent hours with Bestbuy broken website.  Ended up getting nothing after items in my cart disappeared multiple times.  Uncharted 3 sold out, GoW3 as well (GoW3 was $29.95 with 800 MS points), ect.

Whoever runs that site is a freaking idiot.  The sale wasn't supposed to start until noon today but people was cashing in at 1am.  And those that cashed in were able to break the "one" item limit as well.

Zavvi is having it's cyber monday sales, for those that live in the UK you might want to check it out.  The best deals IMO was the DEUS EX 3 on the consoles was 9.95 pounds or roughly $15.

It's to bad the PC version has regional lock otherwise I might have imported it.

I'd like to put in a good word for a sale going on right now on PSN: the former Black Rock Studio's excellent racing game Split/Second is on sale digitally for $9.99.  That's $20 off the normal digital download price.  I don't know if Microsoft has a similar deal going on right now, but $10 is a steal for the best racing game I've played in years.  It's criminal how little that game sold.  It was worth full price when I bought it for $60, so if you're a racing fan with a PS3 and you didn't buy it, you have no excuse now.
There was a Signature here. It's gone now.

Happy Holidays from the Aleph One development community.

You might not have your head wrapped around the Holiday Season just yet, but the Aleph One development community is ready to drop some season's greetings on your unaware, slack-jawed face! Out of nowhere, they've just announced a new version of the Aleph One engine that not only makes playing Marathon a breeze on Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms, but also brings it up to date with the most modern bells and whistles.

Read on for the full press release, and hit the link below to travel back in time to a distant future where space-docking was novel, rampancy was in its infancy, and the only good Bob was a dead Bob.

Bungie's Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal and Marathon Infinity; polished, packaged and ready for download with the brand new Aleph One 1.0 engine.

December 1, 2011 - The Aleph One development community is thrilled to release version 1.0 of the Aleph One game engine. Since the release of the Marathon 2 source code, the team has worked diligently to deliver a cross platform game engine capable of bringing the classic Marathon games, as well as fan-made modifications to the modern Mac, Windows PC and Linux platforms.

Aleph One, an open source project, enhances Bungie's original Marathon games with modern OpenGL shader support, Internet co-op and multiplayer, modern mouse-look and gamepad support and plugin support for modifications.

To celebrate the 12 year development of Aleph One, the original Marathon games have been upgraded to take advantage of the new engine features.

Marathon has been updated with a modern HUD, high resolution graphics as well as extensive changes to the scenario to create the most authentic Marathon experience since 1994.
Marathon 2: Durandal has been updated with the high resolution graphics previously only available for the Xbox LIVE Arcade game.
Marathon Infinity has been updated with high resolution graphics.

All three games can be downloaded for free!

Best Buy deals--12/4/11-12/10-11
Buy 2 Get 1 Free on all titles $29.99 and up (Accessories not included).

$50 gc with the purchase of ANY Nintendo 3DS system.

$39.99- Gears of War 3

-----------------------------------------
Note the 3DS $50 GC, some BB still have Mario Land 3D holiday bundles at $199 so that would be $150+ tax.  Mario Kart 7 also comes out on the 4th so you might as well as grab that one.  There's going be other titles markdown but it varies by store locations.

Some of these are old but some of new:  Amazon download PC titles with $5 coupon.

" NBA 2k12 $9.99
 Dungeon Siege 3 $4.95
 Dead Island $19.99
 Deus Ex $19.99
 Magicka Collection $3.99
 Dungeon Defenders $3.00
Borderlands Game of the Year Edition $11.99 "

Dungeon Siege 3 for $5?  That's a steal IMO.  As for the coupon it applies to games you download during the month of Jan and I'm not sure if it's stackable.  So far I have three $5 coupons.

As far as I know you have to--either you can download the game from Amazon or you can just use the key the give you to activate and download from valve but both ways you're required to have it on steam.  Deus Ex was that way for me.

Still considering your backlog you should be set for a couple of years.

I still have GC games I haven't played yet. and you don't want to see my Steam list....
