I made an identically-named topic in the Wii section, and in this one you get recent DS game news and rumours...

1) Miyamoto has supposedly detailed to the French press that there will be a new DS shooter revealed at E3...This shooter was supposed to have appeared on the Super Famicom, but the hardware was not powerful enough, so it was stashed away until now...The title is NOT Starfox 2...

2) This image has appeared showing a (temporary?) box art for Wario the Thief...The interesting thing is that the brochure lists the game as being WiFi-compatible...

Guh? Is Wario the Thief more along the lines of Wario Land or Wario Ware? How are either types of games wi-fi games? And where are the rumors and speculation (read: CONFIRMATION) on Metroid Dread? I want my 2D Metroid, dammit! Wii could be a bomb and I doubt I would care as long as I knew I was getting at least one more glorious two-dimensioned Metroid game.

This screen from last year should pretty much answer your first question...As for how it uses WiFi, I don't know, nor do I think anyone else does...We have seen NOTHING from this game other than this year-old screenshot...

Wow, I've never seen that screenshot before. Seeing as they have had time to improve on it, I can't wait to see what it looks like at E3. I've been waiting for this sequel

~ Mario VS Donkey Kong 2
~ Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (not surprising)
~ Game based on GC game released in past year (heavy hints towards Geist DS)

I think I'm going to have to wait a while before they release another Fire Emblem game. I haven't even finished Path of Radiance and I'm already pretty RPG'd out.

~ There's also another 1st party game that will be on the DS.. it's only appearance was on gamecube (afaik) and came out under a year ago.

Not a sequel, it's the first in the series, it's not hard to figure out considering the amount of games that came out on the cube in the past year.
